Amazing views, spectacular staff, and beautiful rooms. We checked into to garden terrace, and I never wanted to leave! The hotel is perched on a hillside over nagasaki's bay. You have to take the hotel shuttle or quasi-expensive taxi to get to town, so it's not ideal if being in the urban mix is your goal. But for a relaxing,... More

Stayed one night at the tower suite during our recent self-drive vacation in North Kyushu. Impressions are: - Secluded location. It's a great spot if you want privacy as the road there is narrow (by US standards) and winding. The hotel comprises 6-7 architecturally interesting buildings scattered over the undulating property. The tower suite we stayed at is at one end... More

We decided to stay in the city but have dinner at the Terrace French restaurant. What a remarkable experience. We have dined at the finer restaurants of New York, San Francisco, London and Paris. This meal ranked with those experiences. The setting looking over the Nagasaki harbor is unique. The quality of the food which combined French preparations with Japanese... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Garden Terrace. The rooms are spacious (very spacious by Japanese standards) and modern. It's perched on a hill which offers a beautiful view of the city. It's a little more remote than staying down-town, so that's your trade-off. It's quiet and removed from the hub-bub; and you will need transportation to get to anything... More

My wife & I stayed in the tower suite for a night. Found the hotel very attractive when viewed from the website and have to say I was not disappointed on arrival. - Room was very spacious (at roughly ~50 sq meters the size of a small apartment in Tokyo). - Great panoramic views of the city from above.... you... We’ve been to the Forest restaurant a few times as my wife hails from Nagasaki and we tend to go there each time we are there for a celebratory lunch. Last New Year’s eve we had a seven course tasting lunch and to my surprise dare I say, the French food showed a few unexpected but pleasant twists of the... More

Excellent harbour view room, with bath overlooking the bay. Positioned on a hill above Nagasaki we enjoyed sensational views, especially at night. Excellent staff and food. Very peaceful. Need to take the hotel shuttle or a taxi into the city. Highly recommended

There was some very good points and a few bad points to this resort. Firstly the positive, this was a very beautiful resort with an interesting architectural design and amazing views of the bay and city. The rooms were spacious, beautifully lit and the rain shower, bath and all the amenities were fantastic. The staff were mostly very attentive and... More

We booked the premium harbour view room in the new Royal Terrace tower which was only opened for 2 days. The room was spacious with contemporary decor and with a balcony which overlooks the spectacular city night view of Nagasaki. It has all the best amenities you will need including Bulgari brand amenities. Our room includes free Minibar and free... More

I stayed at the Western-styled Garden Suite facing the bay for two days. The room was huge (about 52msq / 560sqf) with a balcony and the bathroom (complete with a rain shower as well as a bathtub overlooking the bay!) separated from the WC. The free Wi-Fi was pretty fast, the toiletries were fabulous and the staff were very friendly.... More
