Stayed at Dormy Inn Nagasaki for one night during the busy Obon summer holiday period. The hotel was absolutely fantastic and excellent value for money. The rooms are immaculately clean, a good size and the beds are comfortable and spacious. The location is fantastic; the hotel is around a one minute walk away from the Tsukimachi tram stop which will... More

Most of the plus sides of this hotel are outside of the room you stay in. The location, public bath and staff are great. They even let me change my booking one day in advance and gave me a refund. Great service. The hotel itself is dark and there are not enough elevators. We had to wait for more then... More

My expectations of this hotel were based on positive reviews on this site! The hotel was great..rooms were a decent size & the beds bigger than anticipated & very comfy! The location of the hotel is fantastic..you would definitely not starve with all the eating places to chose from..ranging from cafes to local food or because China Town is adjacent... More

We stayed for three nights and were very comfortable here. The location is excellent as it is very close to the tram, which takes you everywhere you need to go, and also easy walking distance from Dejima and the port. We had booked a double and a single but on check in were given a slightly cheaper rate as we... More

i must confess that we were not expecting that much after arriving from a really great experience in kagoshima but we were surprised by a) how convenient the hotel was being a 3 min walk from the tram stop - a direct No 1 from the station; b) how large and comfortable our twin room was c) the nice view... The main draw of this hotel over its competitors in the area would be the onsen. The reception staff were pretty friendly and helpful with enquiries about local tours and excursions. In terms of location, its proximity to Chinatown means there is good food all around the area. It is also pretty near the Tsuki Machi tram stop. A bonus... More

My husband and I have enjoyed our stay at the Dormy Inn Nagasaki. The room was larger than most Japanese hotels and the twin beds are large and comfortable. The pillows at most hotels in Japan are hard but I am sure reception would have softer pillows if required. Our stay is for two nights. As other reviewers have noted... More

It was our first stay at a Dormy Inn and we loved it. It was clean, with all the amenities provided (toothbrushes, shampoo + conditioner), good sized for Japanese hotel rooms, and friendly staff. We particularly enjoyed the lounge with the TV where we sat and cooled off with a beer after utilizing their communal bath. The free soup soba... More

We stayed in many Dormy Inn hotels before and love them for their clean rooms, onsen, 24 hour free coffee and free ramen in the evenings. For this particular hotel, the location is just steps away from Chinatown. Breakfast was good as expected. Paid parking available within the hotel for those who drive

you have to take a tram to the hotel. stop at Tsukimachi tram station and walk about 5 min along the canal. you can see Chinatown across the canal.. there are Onsen in the hotel, free ramen from 930 pm to 1230 pm. rooms are more spacious than other hotels in Japan. highly recommended
