This is an odd hotel, with neither facade nor back on the street. You enter through a lane-way in the front and, in the back, the access is through the bar onto a wide shopping lane. It is convenient as there are shops nearby, grocery stores, tram stops and it is an easy walk to almost everywhere. However, the bar... More

Centrally-located. Clean, comfortable and modern rooms. What else? Stayed there 3 nights, winter, in a standard room. It was nicely-sized for two guests. View wasn't astonishing, but at least we weren't facing a brick wall. Very near the Shianbashi bar/restaurant district, and a mere 4 tram stops away from the train station. Only drawback: the breakfast, though plentiful, takes place... More

Centrally located and though quite international looking at both guests and the hotel bar, very Japanese in the sense of room size and cleanliness. Meaning? Rooms are small and very clean. What is not so nice about the Victoria Inn (despite the fact that somebody had smoked in our non-smoking room...) is that the rooms are old and need refurbishing.... More

Stayed here in a double room for 3 nights in early October, choosing this hotel based on its price and location to the bar/restaurant area (Shianbashi). The entrance to the hotel isn't the easiest to find, as it is down a small lane off the main street, so you have to look out for the small blue sign showing the... More

We stayed here in september at the start of Autumn. The lobby is nice and stylish but the room we stayed in was old and dated - and not in a classy way. The furniture was very worn and nothing like the pictures they show. It looked like cheap op-shop rip-offs. We had also paid for a Queen Bed room... More

Had a four night stay at this hotel, location was the best, walk out the door and you are basically in the main shopping street with the trams going past every couple of minutes. Our twin room was a decent size and beds were comfortable, staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful with so many choices, it was so... More

I stayed here from 21-Aug to 24-Aug, with my husband and 1 year old child. We stayed in a room with a double bed (free for the child) and breakfast was included in our plan. Pros 1. Hotel was 3-5 minutes walk from Chinatown, Daiei supermarket, Log Kit sasebo burger, Starbucks, Mr Donuts etc. No lack of food outlets. 2.... More

This is a truly a wonderful hotel. The staff are all so kind and helpful. They are always friendly and willing to help. I travel a lot, but this place is one of the best in the world. The twin room has two double beds and quite comfortable. There are about 33 per cent discount for those 60 or older... More

Stayed here for three nights. Room was fair size for Japanese hotel. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffett was fabulous. Restaurant Is called Tia. Great selection of Japanese items. American breakfast choices limited to eggs, cereal, etc. the restaurant is known for organic foods. The hotel is in a great location across the street to the entrance to the... More
