I booked a non-smoking single room, but it was full of smoking smell! And they say they did not have non-smoking room! That was really terrible for my health, and also ruin my good mood in vacation!

This is a business style hotel. In Japan, that means VERY small room but everything is there and functional. I already expected it and have stayed in many like this in various parts of Japan. APA is a reliable brand, with free wifi in room and lobby, comfortable bed and all that. Front staffs speak good English and is helpful... More

This is probably the most convenient hotel; it's right across from the train station and city tram stop, close to the 26 Martyrs' Monument and Museum, FAST Internet, free WiFi, fabulous customer service, and of course, clean.

This hotel is very conveniently located just opposite the train station. You have quick access to all trams that take you to all important tourist locations. The staff is very friendly. Rooms are very small but of a night or two while travelling through Nagasaki, the hotel is just fine. Budget Car rental (other side of the river) even dropped... More

Good: 1. Just across the street from Nagasaki train station (a tip: take escalator up one floor, then walk along the footbridge & when you see the Lawson sign, go downstairs on the left. Hotel entrance is small & name not displayed on neon sign, so try not to walk past hotel if you get there at night). 2. Very... More

We stayed one night in a semidouble room, cost 6000Yen from Jalan.net. Like: -Location right opposite nagasaki station (1min) Dislike: -Badly designed rooms, no space to walk after putting our luggage -Bed too small to accommodate two people -Shower temperature inconsistent -Able to store luggage

I chose this hotel because of the convenient location and good price. It was extremely cheap for me (about 4700 yen a night). It's just across the street from Nagasaki Station as well as Nagasakiekimae, a stop on the streetcar system. Very convenient! The room was quite small (which was expected) but not too bad. It was quite old, though,... More

We stayed for two nights and found the room comfortable but on the small side. It is easy access to the train station - just take the overpass and you will find it on the bottom of the stairs. I would probably look at other options if I were to return to Nagasaki - after all, it was $95 for... More

We stayed here for 2 nights, not our first choice in Nagasaki but other hotels we looked at were full. It is very convenient to the station, in fact just opposite. It is also within walking distance to many of the sights and experiences of Nagasaki, particularly when combined with tram rides. The room was the smallest so far that we... More

'Ekimae' in Japanese means 'opposite station' - location a bonus and cheap eats near stations in Japan! I found hotel room & ensuite very small with no robe to hang clothes - just hangers on wall hooks and bed was hard. It's just the way it is in Japanese hotels. I also stayed with local Japanese friends on a futon... More
