The Cross Hotel is a perfect location for exploring Osaka shopping and nightlife. The rooms are well-designed and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast buffet is also quite good. The only problem is the lack of a gym.

We stayed three days in Namba/Dotonbori area and enjoyed a lot the hotel. Fancy deco and very comfortable room with a reasonable price. Nice bathroom and amenities. Maybe the room a bit too small (the bed was against the wall because of this), but that's all.

Smack in the middle of shopping, food and nightlife. You can easily walk to Dotonbori and eat for days or shop in Shinsaibashi. Even better Nanba station is a 3 minute walk so you can easily travel the rest of Osaka. The staff are friendly and helpful and the WiFi works great once you connect. The bathrooms were clean, spacious... More

This hotel is fantastic! It is close to the train station, easy enough to walk to with all your luggage. It is also pretty much right around the corner from the Dotonbori which is an amazing, lively place. Our rooms were upgraded both times we stayed, the staff just offered it to us with a smile. The room was BEAUTIFUL... More

Location: Walking distance from Namba and Shinsaibashi stations. Around the corner from Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Namba, Hozenji Yokocho. Ideal location really for tourist. Service and Room: No issues with check in. Very friendly staff. Happy to look after luggage and offered umbrellas. Queen bed room on level 14. It was a large room and was very clean. This was our first ever Japanese hotel experience...and our first time with the marvellous Japanese hotel loo. The room was well equipped, but small but fine for our purposes . Great vending machine nearby . We liked the location...some beautiful small streets around the nearby canal stuffed with cute bars and restaurants . Good breakfast . We used this place... More

Stayed here for 3 days/nights, it is in an ideal location. You walk around the back, to your left is Shinsaibashi for all your shopping needs, to your right is Dotonbori for all you foody fulfillments. Within minutes of walking either down the side street or along the river, you will reach the underpass that gets you to Namba station... More

We stayed 2 nights, Jan 2 & 3, 2015. My wife booked it for Yen 30,000 per night because the hotel said it was high season. We booked a room for 2 persons (my wife and I). They gave us a very small room with 1 small bed for 2 persons. The small room was certainly not worth the price... More

Central location close to everything, really have nothing to fault this hotel on. It is on the main street of the city (6 lanes one way) so there is the usual street noise but we got used to it fairly quickly. Fantastic bathroom setup and the bed was a good size. So close to shopping too nothing is really more... More

This hotel might look small given that the lobby and restaurant as well as its vintage elevators are actually small compared to other hotels but this cute accommodation right at the heart of Shinsaibashi is just wonderful! Check in was a breeze and front desk staff was more than helpful to entertain all our questions about directions, places, etc.:) the... More
