You should understand that this is a hostel not a hotel. You will have to share bathroom and showers and it is minimal. That said, this is a really nice hostel. My girlfriend and I shared a private room for a good price, and it was clean and quiet. The bathroom and shower area is also very clean. There are... More

The Ritz Carlton it is not. I think you should temper your expectations when staying in a budget hotel, such as this one. You should stay at this hotel if - You're on a tight budget. I got mine for roughly $24/night including taxes from agoda.com - You're going to explore the Namba and Tennoji area. This was my fourth... More

Stayed for 3 nights in 2 persons Japanese style room Located just 1 min walk from Dobustuen-Mae subway station. Plenty of nearby restaurants/ distance walk to Shinsekai/Osaka spa world/ Zoo/ Shin-Imamiya station that allow you to take direct train to Kansai airport. The 2 persons Japanese room with attached bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The wifi was pretty fast too... More

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who want to visit Osaka. Everything about this hotel is good. Just less than 1km from the Shinimamiya station exit (just be mindful of which exit). Nice and helpful hotel staff. The guy whose name is Hitoshi is particularly helpful. He's young and has decent English speaking ability. The shower just OK, the... More

This hotel is located less than 1 min from the subway/train station. It's easier to get anywhere in Osaka. It's also within walking distance to Shinseikai and Tennoji. Six min walk to Nakai Line for the train to Kansai Airport.

We had a good two night stay at Hotel Chuo. Our experience started well when we showed up around 0200 after a long trip involving missed trains, finding buses, and other frustrations. Even at the late hour, the gentleman behind the desk was very polite and helpful and our check-in was quick and painless. We had a room with two... More

I booked a Japanese-style room beforehand but when I checked in there was a bit of a problem, so I got the Western-style one. It isn't really a big issue for me on hindsight as I actually preferred a bed than a futon, and the room I stayed in was pretty large and on the quieter side of the building.... More

We enjoyed our stay at this basic but very well equipped hotel. The room (Japanese style) was big and very clean, and the free slippers were a nice touch. Free coffee and tea throughout the day, plus computer stations available in the lounge. Staff are polite and very welcoming, if you arrive early they will keep your luggage free of... More

This was a good base for me during my return trip to Osaka. Since I've seen most of what Osaka city had to offer, I wanted to explore places further out. I took the JR Rapid Express train from KIX to Shinimamiya station. The hotel is located just a few meters from the Shinimamiya East Exit and the Dobutsuen-mae subway... More

We stay here for 2 nights. The location is superb! just 2-3 mins walk from the subway station, convenience store and restaurants. Staffs is also helpful and very nice. The shared bathroom is okay for the room prices. You can ask for all amenities (Shampoo, shower cream, lotion, etc) from the reception for FREE! The room is quite small but... More
