This hotel must have been popular 20 years ago. The room was so dated, Furniture was old-fashioned and I couldn't say it was very clean. A woman at the reception when we checked in was not really kind. But it has a really nice view, breakfast buffet was good (I chose western style, and the restaurant was on 51st floor!)

nice view from the hotel, near many convenience stores and the train station. Overall the room was very good. Breakfast at 51th floor was good for me but too small room if had the tour group. Some receptionists didn't understand english (include room number in english).

First of all, view from the view was very nice. Breakfast at 51 floor was also great experience for me. On the other hand, I found out there were some dust at some part of the room. But overall, I would say it was nice stay and will choose this hotel for another nights.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while attending a meeting that was hosted at the hotel. While I had a single room (one largish bed), my colleagues all had two beds in their rooms. The one-bed room's layout was much preferred - you could pass between the desk/dresser and the bed without whacking your knees! We stayed on... More

This was our very first hotel on our first trip to Japan. We expected a very small room but the standard double room we had turned up OK except I didn't like the old bed comforter. The room was part of our tour package so not sure how much it cost. As many others have mentioned, the bonus is definitely... More

I struggled to come up with what to say about this hotel. After spending five nights here the experience has ranged from very good to terrible. After the last night I decided to go with terrible. When we first stepped inside the hotel we were taken aback by the lobby and how nice this hotel looked. When we got to... More

Location is really good, just get out from the second floor, you'd find JR loop line station, only 3 stops from Umeda. Rooms are okay, clean. Breakfast was good (I had it on the 51th floor, nice view of Osaka from there) Also there are local restaurants if you get out from the 2nd floor to the station. Service was... More

This was my first city I visited in Japan. This hotel was the perfect location from the JR loop line, which leads around the city. As well, there are three great places to eat breakfast and have snacks right outside the doors. The staff were friendly, although many did not speak english. The rooms were very clean and the view... Stayed at the Osaka Baytower Hotel during my December family holidays. In Japan, hotels in general have lousy views, if at all, being packed together closely with other buildings like cards. But this is different - this hotel has a view, and a majestic one too! The room is big enough for four of us, even with an extra bed... More
