This was our very first hotel on our first trip to Japan. We expected a very small room but the standard double room we had turned up OK except I didn't like the old bed comforter. The room was part of our tour package so not sure how much it cost. As many others have mentioned, the bonus is definitely... More

I struggled to come up with what to say about this hotel. After spending five nights here the experience has ranged from very good to terrible. After the last night I decided to go with terrible. When we first stepped inside the hotel we were taken aback by the lobby and how nice this hotel looked. When we got to... More

Location is really good, just get out from the second floor, you'd find JR loop line station, only 3 stops from Umeda. Rooms are okay, clean. Breakfast was good (I had it on the 51th floor, nice view of Osaka from there) Also there are local restaurants if you get out from the 2nd floor to the station. Service was... More

This was my first city I visited in Japan. This hotel was the perfect location from the JR loop line, which leads around the city. As well, there are three great places to eat breakfast and have snacks right outside the doors. The staff were friendly, although many did not speak english. The rooms were very clean and the view... Stayed at the Osaka Baytower Hotel during my December family holidays. In Japan, hotels in general have lousy views, if at all, being packed together closely with other buildings like cards. But this is different - this hotel has a view, and a majestic one too! The room is big enough for four of us, even with an extra bed... More

Decent, business type of hotel on the outskirts of Osaka. Closely situated next to the subway, but a rather long and steep walk up and down fly-overs, with no escalators. Right across the hotel is a nice area full of tiny littly restaurants which are all perfect. Rooms are ok, TV is only Japanese, we didn't use breakfast, lunch or... More

The hotel is a bit far away form the city center but it has great view to Osaka Bay especially late afternoon you can see spectacular sunset on the bay. The hotel is opposite the train station so it is convenient to go anywhere. The room is ok and it has both Lan Internet and WIFI connection. Breakfast is not... More

This "hotel" was arguably the most uncomfortable hotel I have ever stayed. The price was over priced for the rooms. The "beds" are nothing more than sharp metal frames with a metal spring mattress on top. No box spring, just a mattress. An unbelievably uncomfortable mattress. The room smelled faintly of cigarettes. The bathroom was cramped and yellowed with mildew.... More

The purpose of my Osaka trip was for pleasure and I found the hotel through a friends recommendation on his website. I got a great price on the hotel room, but would've preferred to pay for to stay some where a little more exciting. Bentencho is located on the west side of Osaka, a 4-5 station stop away from the...
