If you are looking for a budget hotel within the main shopping area of Umeda and yet near Osaka Station, this is your best choice. All the other hotels within this area are of the upper class and this is the best budget choice, although still a little pricey compared to the other budget hotels in Namba area. Stayed in... More

I think this is the nearest "cheap" hotel to Osaka Station. Kind of small but good for the location and it was very clean. Umeda is a good place if you are touring Japan and going to far places like Hiroshima, etc. WiFi in the hotel is good, and very fast. Concierge speaks good english. There is a microwave for... More

I picked the hotel because it is so close to the station, and because it offered a budget price. I showed up at 10am, and the extremely friendly reception ladies made sure I got the first room that had been cleaned. The room was small, but clean and with an excellent WiFi connection. I spent most of the day in... More

The Landmark Umeda is well-located, not far from Osaka station, for shopping and food. The Grand Front Osaka, with its many stores, is a two minute walk from the hotel. Also Yodobashi, an electronics store with other shops on the upper floors, is a two minute walk from the hotel. I had a single room which was tiny but the... More

The hotel itself has nothing to write home about. Hostel looking lobby. Very small room even for Japanese standard. They don't even have shower gel in the bathroom (tiny bar soap instead), and shampoo comes in a little packet. Wifi signal in the room can be inconsistent, but they do have a broadband outlet you can plug in your mobile... More

I absolutely LOVE this hotel. It's about a block from the main train station (with JR lines) and the rooms were huge. They had wired internet access. The rooms were very clean and didn't have any odor. It had a very cool "loft" feel, which we liked. It had exposed concrete and pretty minimalist decor. Beware: when we booked on... More

Really close to the train station (2 streets). Convinience stores in 20 m. Vending machines inside the hotel. Nice personnel, who can barely speak english but will do their best to help you. Relatively close to the attractions in the city (metro required). Not close to the metro entrance, but it's only 10 minutes walk away. Extremely clean and functional... More

Hotel is cheap, and is very well located. Only 5 mins walk from Osaka Central Station, which we needed to use to get to Kansai Airport. Staff are friendly. They were able despite limited English, to recommend a good shopping area fro my mother and wife. Downside is that it does not serve breakfast, though there are microwaves and tables... More

This hotel is located in a totally convenient place (especially if you take the limousine bus to and from the airport, to and from the New Hankyu Hotel) and it is clean and an all around great little hotel. If you want a large room, go to an expensive hotel and be prepared to pay dearly for it. But if... More

I spent four nights here. The location is excellent. Very close to both Osaka and Hankyu Umeda stations and also to the Hankyu bus terminal. There is a convenience store just round the corner, which is handy. The hotel is basic and small (as most business hotels are), but was spotlessly clean and more than adequate. I remember the bed...
