The hotel is just renamed from Metro The 21. It located in the busiest area in the center of Osaka. Shopping, eating, and exciting retail stores are there non-stop 24 hours a day there. The restaurant located on the top floor provides breakfast buffet every morning. Although varieties are not many, the quality is acceptable and value for money.

We stayed here in September 2015, when it was Metro the 21. It was a great location, in the center of Dotonburi close to tons of restaurants, shopping, karaoke, and bars both local and English-speaking. It was close to lots of "host bars" which seemed sketchy to me, and around a lot of other "adult" business- but we still felt... More

I checked in to this hotel today. The location of this hotel could not be any better, within a stone's throw of Dontonburi and Shinsaibashi shopping & food! Walking distance from Namba stations so easy to get to from subway or the JR lines. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. The 'smart double' room was pretty small but this... More

I understand this hotel is in the transition of being rebranded and managed as an Ibis hotel under the Accor Group. The time we stayed in January it was still running under the Hotel Metro 21 name, and perhaps the old staff were still there which explains the poor service I received. We stayed at the large family Japanese room... More

The location is the center of shopping area and it's walking distance from underground train. Room is very clean. Breakfast is fine for Asia tourist. But, the menu is quite not various for the guest. The taste is good. Staff can speak English and polite.

First of all, the location is one of the best. if you fancy shopping, eating and partying hard this is the hotel for you. However, the room is small and the air con is only spewing out hot air no matter what setting you put on. You need to open the window to let the air come in. Even in... More

The room is clean and quiet with window closed. Room is small as expected. Staff is helpful but poor English. Spend more time to communicate is okay. However, the temperature regulation system is not working at room. The room is so hot and we have to open the window to lower the temperature. Ventilation at toilet is not enough. Room... More

There are mixed reviews about this place but here's my experience. Just checked out from this hotel awhile ago. Stayed here for 3 nights with my family. We had the family room with 4 beds. It's located at the top floor. Positive: 1. Roomy and functional for a family of four or 5 with a child sharing bed with adult.... More

Currently staying here for 3 nights. 3 of us in a single room on 3 single beds. No aircon, its boiling hot here and theres nothing you can do about it. Heaters are on. Terrible management. He is rude and ignorant. Will also be contacting booking.com about this horrible hotel. Seems more a hotel that you would take a one... More
