The hotel is within 10mins walk to Doutonbori shopping street and also Shishaibashi street as they are all connected. We had a quad sharing room and its very spacious sleeping on tatami floor with futon mattress. There's even yukatas (Japanese robes) provided. The only setback is the ventilation in the toilet. The hotel staff are very helpful providing map and... More

Direction first,if you are arriving from airport taking the rapiit to namba station with reasonable luggages, i would suggest you take the west exit and take a taxi to hotel from there, it only cost you like ¥700-800 for the trip.If you are traveling alone or just with another friend, and with light luggages, then perhaps you would like to take... Easy to walk to several key locations in Osaka, including Dotonburi, Shinsaibashi, and Kuromon market. Also very close to the subway. Clean room, loved the bathrobes they provide with it. Helpful staff, even if they didn't speak too much english. Pretty bad WIFI connection though, it constantly was cutting in and out.

We stayed one night for a family of five with teenage / adult children. The room was a traditional Japanese room with tatami mats and good value. Kimonos were provided and so it added to the traditional atmosphere of the room. Location was great, close to eating places and shops. Our adult children enjoyed the night life and night shopping.... We stayed here for 4 nights to experience Osaka. We were given a Ryokan style room with beds on the floors. It was great for all. The kids loved the bedding and the way the room was set up. My youngest moved her bed into the cupboard and turned it into a private 'cubby' house. It was fantastic. Great location... More

The location was fantastic - right on the doorstep of Dotonbori and only a few minutes walk to the subway. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The shower/bath was fantastic. The staff were extra friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Great to have a fridge in the room, and a beer vending machine downstairs too. We had... More

Triple room was big for a Japanese hotel Separate Toilet, bath and sink provisions are good for 3 people since we were able to use these simultaneously. What I did not like 1. Directions to hotel are not clear 2. Staff should know at least some basic English 3. smoking area is right in front of the elevator

Stayed 2 nights here with family. First off, location wise, it's pretty good. It's very near Dotounbori street which has all the shops and restaurants. I was very excited to see the Glico man (cliche I know) and was glad to know it was just a couple of mins walk away. The hotel is closer to the Nanba area so... More

Im now staying at Naniwa hotel for my 5 days trip in Osaka. Rooms are comfortable and clean. If you wish to experience the Japanesse style room, do try their quad sharing room with futon bed. Location wise is strategic to Dotounbori street n Nipombashi. Definitely satisfied with this hotel.
