Stayed here with our tour group. Not too bad, convenient, and easy to walk around too once you get your bearings in place. Near to train station and Starbucks downstairs. Room size was fine by Japanese standards. Overall a good value.

Stayed there for a couple of nights with children in the middle of July. Note that there are smoking and non-smoking rooms which we were unfortunately booked into a smoking room. Couldn't change as no rooms available. The residual smell was very strong which made it uncomfortable. Room size is fairly small and a bit odd due to the circular... More

Being part of Hankyu-Hanshin-Daiichi Hotel Group, one of the nationwide hotel chains, Osaka Daiichi Hotel offers a friendly services at a competitive pricing. Hotel room was cozy and cushy/small and cramped as expected, and it was surprising there was a couch for a Superior Single Room. Located at the center of Osaka city, right south of Hanshin Umeda/JR Osaka Station,... More

Small but clean room. Very crowded and bustling hotel. Convenient walking or easy train to lots of attractions. Coffee shops and restaurants were adequate. We booked a non-smoking room but they had us down for smoking but readily changed it once we discovered the error. Breakfast was buffet style and was fine but again a very busy place with a... More

Located close to downtown Osaka main station. This hotel is accessible via the underground pedestrian walkway via escalators or a life which is a bit tricky to find. At street level exit the South Gate of Osaka station. Crossing straight over the intersection the Daiichi Hotel is hidden by another building and is only one block ahead and easy to... More

Small hotel in a good location. 5 minutes walking distance to Osaka train station where there are a few shopping malls, eateries in the train station building. The famous Hankyu shopping mall is also within walking distance. Hotel room is very small, maybe because it was single room. It will be impossible to walk if you have more than 2... More

We had to stay in this hotel for the unexpected two extra day stay in Osaka and we were unable to get extension in our first hotel in Umeda. This hotel is a lot closer to Umeda station. It takes about 5 mins to go from the hotel to the station. The hotel is small and built in a round... More

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Staffs are all very friendly. Hotel room is clean and the size is reasonable. Location is excellent and makes life so much easier for me when it's my first time visiting Osaka. It's very closed to the Osaka JR station and to many shopping malls.

very good located, near to shopping area and choices of food. Best thing was, surprisingly the room was pretty spacious compared to similar level of hotels in Japan. Breakfast was good and amenities provided in the shower room was very good.

This hotel is linked to a underground shopping street (not 24hrs, some of the cafes/restaurants are though), and has its own 24hrs starbucks in the ground floor. Near to train station and shopping malls. Good facilities but breakfast spread is so-so. Opposite to Hilton Hotel which has similiar facilities but way more expensive. Good hotel to stay in in Osaka.
