We found our way from ShinOsaka to the hotel via subway on the Midosuji Line and then got off at Nikatsu Station. Easy to find hotel and reception on 2nd floor. The Hotel Hanyu International was absolutely luxury for the price. Plenty of staff to greet you and make you feel very welcome and always exceptionally friendly but polite. We... More

The hotel is a very nice, clean property! The rooms were generously spacious, super beds, large bathroom, super views, which made for a VERY comfortable hotel stay! Have to admit that a few less than positive reviews (before the trip) made me wonder. Have to commend / recognize their hotel staff who was very attentive, service oriented and spoke english... More

Great value for money. Very exclusive hotel. Room a little small but great views of the city from our room. Our main reason for being in Osaka was to see Sumo and it didn't dissapoint. Staff at the hotel very good. Some of the extras were very expensice, like the high tea service or the buffet meal. But they were... More

Excellent hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the reception very easy, even if you come in on the ground level it's not that hard to work out where reception is. Once checked in we were escorted to our room - nice touch. Room was lovely, clean and fresh. Bathroom was very big and luxurious. We had a... More

The hotel was somewhat easy to find as we made our way through the stations, malls and crowded streets from the big Osaka JR station with our suitcases. The hotel itself looks quite impressive on the outside and its location deem convenient to the big department stores and eateries in the Umeda area. It was, however, a bit confusing to... More

My family and I had a really good stay at the hotel. The room was big by Japanese standard. The marbled bathroom and the amenities were luxurious. There are a few good restaurants in the basement and a convenience store just opposite. I would definitely return. A minor glitch is that the reception staff cannot understand English very well. When... More

This hotel does a great job presenting itself. The outside is appealing, with its towering figure casting a shadow over smaller buildings that surround it. The lobby is lavishly/luxuriously decorated, with large chandeliers and elegance everywhere. A large majority of the staff spoke English, which was a huge plus and made the check-in process smooth. While we were checking in... More

This is luxury for what you pay. We couldn't believe it was so cheap. It was the loveliest room with amazing city views and the service was fantastic. The hotel is just minutes away from train and subway station and is surrounded by great little restaurants. The staff are so helpful and will provide you with maps and recommendations for... More

Located right acrss the street from Umeda / Yodabashi, its a great location. Breakfast is good and the hotel is a decent value. Rooms could be bigger / more comfortable, however you get what you pay for.

Agree with most reviews, this hotel feels like a five star hotel but charges a four star or even below price in the Osaka station area. conciege speaks limited English but with some efforts we are able to get our questions answered. It's much closer to a smaller subway station (5min walk) we later liked much more than the big... More
