I stayed in this hotel for 10 nights during a business trip. The hotel lobby was very beautiful, but when I saw my room, it was a disappointment. Very small, smelled like old tobacco and was very worn. The bed was good, but the bathroom looked dirty. The breakfast was good every day, and it was nice to eat in... More

This hotel is very up market and yet very friendly, excellent staff., beautiful ambiance, some very lovely features. Excellent restaurant and food choices. Rooms are very small and very cramped, surprising for a hotel of this quality. But we later discovered during our holiday in Japan the room size is similar to all the hotels we stayed in.

This is an older hotel, but maintained well. All the taxi drivers know where it is so it's big and been there for a while. Why did we take the taxi? On the map, this hotel is right next to a subway station. I figured that's all I need to visit Osaka. The problem is, the close by subway is... More

The rooms were very spacious with plenty of room. Everything was tidy and clean. Check in took a long time seen to be waiting a while to be taken to our room. We were traveling with a baby and they wanted to charge us per night for a cot which is rediculous we stayed at 8 other hotels dieting this... More

This is a top notch hotel, in a very good location, with excellent staff. It's in the style of a classic hotel from 30s or 40s maybe, but has been updated and refurbished to a high level. It recently celebrated 80years. We had two rooms, one was a superior one with lots of room, excellent fittings, a private lounge area... More

During our recent trip to Osaka (April 2015) we stayed at the RIHGA Royal twice, for a few nights at the beginning and at the end of our trip. At the beginning we stayed in the Presidential Towers Suite which was gorgeous, the views from our room were outstanding, and you really were treated well when arriving at the hotel,... More

This Hotel offers a direct shuttle bus from and to Osaka Station. The welcome was friendly. Although the room has not been ready (in the morning) an access to the coffee lounge was offered. The rooms are very spacious and clean (japanese standard). The hotel offers many shops and restaurants and there are a few places around. The hotel is... More

Just stayed here for our last couple of nights in a 2 week trip in Japan and this was by far the worst hotel of the entire trip; The room is just on the right side of clean but is small with no luggage rack for your case so you spend the entire time tripping over it, the only English... More

Hotel room's small size is typical by Japan's standards. No difficulty encountered checking in and checking out of the hotel. Pleasant staff members. I like most the free shuttle to and from Osaka station, the restaurant options within the hotel (especially if you're too tired to go out) and the convenient access to Keihan Nakanoshima station.
