Situated above a subway station, this hotel makes it effortless to travel within Osaka. From Kansai airport, we took a railway, and a subway to get here. It's also a walking distance to well-known shopping areas, and the famous Dotonburi. Room size is adequate, and the staff are very courteous.

This hotel wasnt good nor was it bad. Rooms were on the very small side but they were clean. The staff were nice. Location is good. Subway was right underneath and a small food court was on the basement level. Check in time is horrible though(3pm). they have a money exchanging machine in the lobby which was very helpful because... More

I spent two nights at The Hotel Nikko Osaka last week and was really pleased with the location which is right opposite Daimaru department store and close to Shinsaibashi Shopping Arcade, cafes, restaurants, vintage stores and cool little neighbourhoods, all within a short walk. My room was surprisingly large with a king size bed and all mod cons. Although I'd... More

This hotel was a welcome surprise. We got the Superior Semi-Double Room for a very reasonable price and it was worth it. In our other hotels, the rooms were very tiny so it was nice to have this room to spread out in. It would be considered an average room in the US. The service was excellent and it is... More

We stayed in a twin room with extra bed. Room was quite large for it to contain three twin beds. There was bathtub and with complimentary shiseido shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Hotel is nicely situated on top of a train station, so its easy to move around Osaka. It is a few blocks away from Shinsaibashi shopping street, Daimaru,... More

I stayed at this hotel on business. The hotel has an excellent location and the full amenities one would expect from a four star hotel. I had high expectations for my stay in one of the renovated rooms. Initially, the room appeared great: good view, modern furnishings, big TV, etc. However, I was shocked when I entered the bathroom. The... More

NO GYM??? NO SPA??? Room was small and dates, especially the bathroom...straight out of the 70's. A major hotel chain in one of Japan's biggest cities without even a simple fitness center or sauna is bordering on negligent. So many better values in Osaka that have enough consideration for their guests to offer basic amenities. Would not recommend this hotel... More

The hotel is located right in the shopping district where all the luxury brands are located with huge and high shops..finding food around the hotel is easy with a lot of small and good restaurants in the small alleys..this hotel is more of a corporate hotel so expect to see a lot of men in business suits in the hotel... You can tell the hotel has been around for sometimes as the room deco its kinda old school, but everything you need its well provided. Room are small, quite common in Japan although its a 4 or 5 star hotel last time i checked. FYI room size does not increase along with the star ratings. Super attentive and efficient staff.... More

The room was fairly clean and not the smallest I've been in (I would compare it to an ibis size hotel room). One of the staff did sit with me for an hour to explain exactly how to get to all my appointments, tell me where to eat and where to shop. Dotonbori street (must see) is a 10 minute... More
