We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights on a business trip. Nice features: - free WiFi (some time slow) - many meal options (including western bfast) - on the station - surrounded by malls and restaurants - direct (paid) limo to-fro airport Expensive. Room size small (normal for Japanese standard).

The ultimate selling point of this hotel is its location - directed connected to Exit 1 of Umeda station in this core shopping mecca downtown. The hotel is celebrating its 50th anniversary with some events that perhaps guests can be better informed of. As the hotel is rather popular with budget- or location-conscious travelers, you can expect a long line-up... More

This hotel is the one I usually go to while in Osaka. It is extremely convenient with the location. Airport Limo Bus from Kansai airport bus stop number 5 leaves every 20 minutes and takes approximately 50 minutes to the door of the hotel. Cost for Limo bus is 1550 yen each way but you can get return discount ticket... More

My room was very small, bathroom was the traditional cubicle Japanese style. For one night, it worked fine. Bus No.5 goes direct from airport to the hotel door. Takes about 1 hour. I didn't have breakfast however I had lunch in the restaurant right to the reception. Good lunch set menu. Good internet in the room.

Very convenient hotel, although a bit old fashioned, its located perfectly for all transportation needed for travellers. Buffet breakfast is great and offers a wide variety of japanese and western food. Staff are well trained and helpful. I stayed here 4 yrs ago and will consider living here in the future too. I got a very good price by booking... More

Stay: 25-28 May 2014 Location: Only couple minutes from Umeda exit on Midosuji Line, which means it is right next to the underground shopping. About 5 minutes underground walk to Hankyu Department Store. Yodabashi, a large department store specialize in electrical goods, is right across the street. Yodobashi also has numbers of restaurant on the high floor (can't remember which... More

This hotel has one of the best locations anywhere around. There's a huge department store nearby, the subway is really close, and there are a lot of small marts to buy stuff. The service at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast option had a lot of variety and I was pleased by that. The main problem I had... More

I have been to this hotel for countless times for business trip. It hasn't change much from my first visit in 2001. This hotel is within the Umeda Main Station complex. The airport limousine coach stops also just in front of the hotel lobby. Very convinient for travellers! Surrounded by shopping malls, cafes, and everything you need are within reach.... More

I decided to stay in this hotel again since the location is just unbeatable with airport limousine stopping right in front of the hotel and within close proximity to all transport and shopping. Three years ago, I thought the room was small but acceptable. But this time, I am sure they have renovated and making the size of two rooms... More

I have stayed in New Hankyu Osaka for many times. It looks the same for the past 10 years, in the other word, hotel is a bit shabby. Hotel is very very old but still very very clean, the location very very very good! Front desk is very rude! The only reason choose this hotel is the location! Hotel room... More
