I am NOT a fan of OSAKA and haved lived in KOBE for about 12 years now so I am a little jaded in that respect. This is the ONLY hotel where I let my family and friends stay if they feel the extreme need to actually spend any time in Osaka during their Japan vacations. I stayed here this... more

Paid 27,000yen ($300) for a double upgrade to Jr. Suite. via ikyu.com Unfortunately this suite backs up to the elevator, and the high occupancy meant it was coming and going every minute or two, even at 11pm. We didn't notice it at first, but with the lights out it became annoying, and in the end they allowed us to sleep... more

i stayed few months ago in this hotel, i would say overall it is a good hotel, but as the previous reviews i would say it really depends what you are looking for, if for expensive branded shopping, ok go ahead but for leisure i would not recommend it. staff very good, overall a very good hotel for the price... more

just came back from a 3 night stay at the ritz osaka. had booked cheapest room via amex plat card travel services. arrived by taxi from itami (about 50 us dollars) was surprised to be greeted by name and then wisked up to the club floor 34th. We had been upgraded for FREE! wonderful view of the city and surprisingly... more

This is a small hotel, and it tries to be the best in Osaka. Unfortunately, I can't say that I enjoyed my stay. That was no fault of the staff, however. They were absolutely there whenever needed, and they did their work well. The problem for me was the setting -- paintings of still life on the walls, frilly furniture,... more

We stayed at this hotel from the 10th to the 14th April 2009. Overall we were happy with the hotel, the bed was superior and the concierge outstanding in their restaurant recommendations. The one thing that we found very disappointing though, was the service at the breakfast buffet, along with the quality of the food and the choices available. For... more

Just stay at the R-C Osaka for 4 nights with my family--we stayed at the club level room for the duration of our trip. The rooms were definitely pricey--but the service was truly outstanding--the manger from the club lounge greeted us when we first step into the lounge; the quality of food served in the lounge throughout our stay was... more

The Ritz Carlton Osaka Hotel is amazing. We stayed in the Executive Suite and it was very spacious and relaxing. It felt like home. The staff at the hotel are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. It is an impeccable hotel and very welcoming. There are 3 big department stores within 5-10mins walking distance, including another 4 shopping centres. The station... more

Location: It' s a bit far from the Osaka Station, unlike the concierge advised us to walk 7mins upon we arrived from Kyoto by train. You can walk thru a well-planned and designed underground passage or ho in and out to the shopping area with direct access from the passage. The main entrance is not very grand yet it is... more

I stayed at the Ritz Osaka as part of my honeymoon to Japan. I got a great rate to stay on the club level, which was wonderful. However, unbeknownst to me and my traveling partner, tattoos are a severe taboo at the Ritz Osaka. When we tried to use the pool, we were chased down the hallway by one of... more
