We stayed at the Swissotel Nankai in May and couldn't fault it. The room was big, the view over the city was great and it was close to transport and the shopping and dining precinct. The staff were also very helpful. One hint...not all ATMs worked with our card which we knew when we left but found the Post Office... more

I had a short but great stay at Swissotel Nankai Osaka.. Tried the most of the restaurants in the hotel and each of them were great.. Location wise it is perfect.. close to shopping malls and to my favorite japanese store (MUJI)..If I ever go to Osaka again, I would definitely stay at the Swissotel.. more

We booked this Hotel through their website using a great Travelzoo rate. The Hotel is right above Nankai station, even if you do not arrive at Nankai station however it is easily reachable by subway line (from Shin-Osaka it is about 15 minutes with no transfers) and right in the centre of the active and exiting Minabi area of Osaka.... more

I found the Swisshotel Nankai to be adequate. Not great, not bad, a good choice and fair value. It is located on top of Namba Station and right by Dotonburi and Shinsaibahsi street, so you are right in the middle of the action and good food choices.
