I instantly felt good in this cute little guesthouse: the owners are very nice (both helpful and happy to talk with their customers), the place is clean and nicely arranged, the room was comfortable. The area, a little out of the "hot spots area" but really not more than 15 minutes by train, with the covered shopping street and the... More

Koji and his wife very friendly and speak fluent English which is really helpful for the people don't understand Japanese. The guesthouse is a little bit out of the city center, but with subway you can go anywhere around Osaka easily. Locate in the middle of shopping street and so you can find supermarket, restaurant, bakery, cosmetic shop in 3~10... More

I stayed with my 2 friends at Caminoro for 2 nights in october, I was in a female dorm and my friends had a japanese style room. When we arrived we were the only guests, and was told the male showers was not working and that there was a rota for the female showers - this was not a problem... More

I stayed in CaminoRo last year with my girlfriend. The owners were both really friendly and were very helpful with getting around Osaka. The rooms were clean and in good condition, although the sound proofing was a bit poor (could hear people walking past quite easily). Bathroom/shower was very clean. It is a little separated from the heart of Osaka,... More

I've been at Caminoro Hostel two times alteady, and I think I will go there again everytime I'm in Osaka. It's in a quiet living neighbourhood outside of the citycenter. But you can go there easiely by subway or Hankyu trains and as the Hostel is located in a roofed shopping-street, you have a varity of shops and restaurants close... More

I stayed here with a friend in April 2013 and have nothing bad to say about this place! We stayed in two different rooms for a week, as some of the rooms were occupied at certain times. Both rooms were in great condition (albeit a bit small but you get what you pay for) and the bathrooms, kitchen, and common... More

My husband and I stayed at the CaminoRo in Osaka because it was close to my husband's relatives. We were meeting his Japanese relatives for the first time and asked Koji--the owner--to also be our interpreter since Carl's family didn't speak much English. Koji is now considered part of the family!! We enjoyed getting to know him and his wife... More

I stayed in Caminoro back in March 2011 (yep I survived the earthquake).I guess it's still valid to share my experience while staying there. Koji-san and Taeko-san were really, really helpful during my stay over there. They spoke very good English, so travellers who do not understand Japanese English/Japanese, rest assured these people will go an extra mile to help you.I... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Caminoro Guesthouse. Koji and Taeko were very kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfy. Towels were provided. I felt safe at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is also close to traditional restaurants and away from the busy city yet a short walk to the subway and one stop from Shin Osaka. Thanks... More

This place is a godsend! Lets start first with the fantastic people of the house. The innkeepers Koji and Taeko san is ever so helpful in rendering us help upon our arrival, showering us with maps and many other informative brochures. Room was cozy and clean, though you are reminded to be careful with the expensive tatami flooring. Shower rooms... More
