Stayed in a 3 bed private room and it was a good experience. The hostel has a cool 60's vibe with comfy tatami mats and is in a good location with only a 5min walk to the nearest station or around 15 mins to the huge shopping strip in shinsaibashi! They also offer a simple breakfast for only 300 yen

What a gem!! We stayed only 1 night but quickly convinced that it was a great choice. We shared a traditional 3 bedroom room for 2 people on the second level. It was very spacious and was made up of 2 rooms with one wall being a cupboard for storage. The futons were clean and warm with generous bedding. One... More

Oasak 64 is an ideal place for our budget trip. my boyfriend and I had been traveling around Asia for a few months, so we can't afford to spend luxury. but we'd like to stay comfortably, that's why we picked this one. the staff are amazingly wonderful while they tried to help with everything from direction to trip planning. the... It's a bit hard to find but this hidden jewel is not like any others. Keeping in mind that it's a backpackers hostel, it exceeds the standards of almost every other backpackers. The beds are arranged, dorm style, with curtains, providing enough privacy. I really enjoyed the common room, it was cozy and beautifully designed. I also didn't mind the... More

The dorms in this hostel are unlike anything I've come across before. Dorms have single beds, with privacy separators so it almost feels like you have you own room. All equipped with little lights and charging sockets, along with a small lock box for valuables. The hostel itself is artfully designed and there is a great chill out area in... More

Booked two nights at this hostel on my recent trip to Japan. It's cozy- as if you had your own apartment in Osaka. Dormitories are single beds, but separated by curtains, a welcome change from the usual bunk beds. The breakfast was simple, but amazing! A real bargain at 300¥. The also have a great selection of local beers. The... More

Me and my friend stayed very comfortably for 2 nights, with clean and cosy traditional style Japanese rooms. The location of the hostel is also very convenient to get to the many sights and places of interest around Osaka, along with many great local food joints and restaurants. There are also 24-7 convenience stores very close by for those late... More

This is my first time visiting Osaka, Japan. Hostel 64 really is a chic one to stay with. Also, the staff are friendly and helpful. Still, I would not suggest people who want a quiet environment. Some guests are a bit noisy because of packing and talking during the middle of the night. The dormitory might not be a good... More
