First of all, I would like to say big thank you to the receptionist Mineko! After got screwed over by the first hostel, I walked into Hostel 64 without a reservation. Unfortunately, the place was fully booked. However, she put the effort to call other hostels and reserved a nice hostel near metro station for me! I was simply amazed... More

I like this place. It has this artsy, hip feel to it. The location is also nice, residential area, not too crowded. And it's between 2 subway lines which is a plus. I stayed on the dormitory but theirs was not the bunk bed type - thankfully, and has curtain dividers which means there's privacy. And even better were the... More

Was impressed by the design of Hostel 64 and wanted to try it. It did not disappoint! Stayed for the first night in the dorm (as the rooms were full) and later in the tatami room. I must say i really liked the dorm! it felt really cosy with the individually designed curtains around it. very comfortable. The restrooms are... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. This was one of the most value for money accommodation for our trip. Well designed place, clean facilities and most importantly very friendly and informative staffs. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone that visit Osaka.

Reservation made via email, reply was quick and reservation confirmed without the need of deposit. It was really easy to find the hostel, following the instructions of the map on their website. As stated in both email and website, the hostel does not have elevator therefore luggage needs to be carried up the stairs. But the reception was quick to come... More

I was a beautiful designed hostel, each floor with different theme. Each floor consists of 1 bathroom (also different theme) + 1 toilet + 1 long sink for brushing teeth so it's sharing among each others. No elevator, No TV, reception counter & living area on the 1st floor and rest of the floor up will be rooms. Wifi is... More

The hotel is well designed even in dormitory room. We stay here for 2nights in 7beds dormitory. I found the single bed is larger than normal dorm size bed so it is very comfortable for me with enough space to keep the lugguges. The hotel also provide ear plug for us ( very thoughtful for dorm bed). Living room is... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. Biggest room we've had during our stay in kansai. Near nishinagahori subway station so no hassle on travelling to scenic spots. 20mins walk to shinsaibashi. There is no elevator in this hotel so be ready to carry your luggages. Very friendly staff. We will definitely come back!😊

We stayed in Hostel 64 last December for a night in Osaka. In a nutshell it's a very hip hostel, and I couldn't help but notice how wonderfully designed the spaces are. We stayed in the Japanese style family room (good enough for 4 people) which had three futon beds and one single modern bed. The bathrooms on each floor... More

We stayed here for 4 nights on the last leg of our Japan trip and we loved it! We stayed in a private room for two which was on the second level (all stairs) in a traditional style room which meant sleeping on mattresses on the floor, which sounds unpleasant but was really all part of the fun. The staff... More
