The price is fair in Osaka which is near 心齋橋.The receptionists cannot speak English. Suitable for ppl who has limited budget. Just suitable for business trip or low budget travel as the hotel can provide a clear environment for living only as the furniture are old but clear. But it is good enough if you plan to sleep for 8... More

I visited here in late Nov 2014. The hotel is just 1 min walk either from Nishiohashi station #exit 4 or Yotsubashi station #exit 4. It is a bit far to walk to Namba area. It takes around 10min walk pass through american mura area. There are convenient shop and ramen shop next door. We are satisfied to stay here.... More

I travel to Japan quite often, mainly to Osaka. A number of years ago I found this great hotel chain that is all over Japan. The Toyoko Inn chain offers reasonable rates, clean rooms and good service. The rooms all have the same look and feel to them. They have American toilets in their capsule bathrooms You book online, they... More

I like the Toyoko Inn's. Although the rooms are tiny, they are very clean and well fitted out. Ideal for business trips or for when you want a cheap place to relax when on a budget. Centrally located downtown to all the action, but in a quiet spot itself. Access to this hotel is easier from the Midosuji street above... More

Stayed in a non smoking double room. The claimed "Queen" size bed seem smaller than queen size suppose to be. not so comfortable for 2 adults and a 2.5 old toddler but manageable. Will prefer a king room if available. The room is clean but a little old especially inside the toilet. The aircon is not cold. It doesn't seem... More

The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Yotsubashi subway station. But if you arrive from Yotsubashi exit no. 4, you will have a long staircase to negotiate, which is not so convenient for guests with luggage. I found out later that Nishiohashi subway station is just as nearby and their exit has an elevator! So if you are... More

Just like other Toyoko inn, its a very standard and clean hotel. The reception counter speaks very limited English (when compared to the reception at Shijuku Toyoko inn). Excellent location for shopping.

If you ever stayed in any Toyoko Inn hotel before, you need no reading up on what to expect. They are consistently good, clean and affordable - like clones. This particular one which we stayed during the last week of November autumn peak 2011 was situated behind the main street. Not easy to locate for 1st time visitor to Osaka.... More

We have been to Japan many times. And we always try and search out a Toyoko Inn for our accommodation. They are always centrally located (very important), near transportion (subway, tram, etc.), very reasonable in price (usually less than $85), and always includes a breakfast. Yes, the rooms are small, but since you're going to be out and about during... More

It's close to Shinsaibasi, you can go there by walking in 10 minutes. It's really a good place to stay if you went there shopping.
