This hotel was first class, it a was a large room with a large bathroom. It is a 5 minute train ride from Osaka, but the station is 3 minutes from the hotel. The staff spoke very good English and were friendly and helpful with all requests. Highly recommended.

We stayed here as a family and thoroughly enjoyed it! As most hotels in Japan have fairly small rooms, so did this hotel! But it was not that bad! Everything is really nice and modern as well! The staff was very helpful! Would definitely stay here again if in Osaka. It is only a couple minutes walk away from the... More

Firstly I got persuaded to book this hotel because of its high rating on TripAdvisor but upon arrival, I don't really know what the rave is about. Traveled the Kansai area and chose Brighton City for 2 nights when we return back to Osaka as we wanted to explore the areas further away from the Shinsaibaishi / Dotonburi area although... More

Bad: Osaka transportation system between trains and subways are not always smooth. Sometimes in order to switch trains you have to exit one station and walk on the streets to get to another station for transfer. Hotel Brighton needs to improve the direction it provides for train riders to get to the hotel. It is not clear that there a... More

This was a nice hotel to stay in which was clean and had good facilities. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. However, for the typical tourist, the hotel was in the business district area and there were no useful subways nearby that could give direct access to the downtown areas - you had to usually change lines.... Room was "made up" on arrival at 12.30pm but "not available" for check-in until 3pm unless we paid an extra US$30 for an upgrade to check i before 3pm, to the same room were booked, we had no choice but to head out or pay the extra money for a room that was already "ready". It was basically extortion. By... More

Location - Conveniently placed halfway between Umeda & Dotonbori with easy train link from the station which is within close walking proximity. Otherwise cab prices to either location are quite affordable especially if travelling with two or more people. Cleanliness - High standard of cleanliness throughout hotel Comfort - Bed's and pillows are comfortable & bathroom is very well appointed... More

The front desk supervisor/manager made a big fuss over the fact that I wanted my 10 year old daughter share a room with her two other siblings who are teens in a double room. She insisted that we get a third room and then when she found out that the hotel was fully booked, charged us 5,000 yen for the... More

Located on a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with streets almost deserted during sundays. Perfectly located for exploring Osaka. Just 15sec walk from Kitahama Station Exit 5. Easy access from Kansai Airport, just 2 train ride and 1 train change. 7-11 and Lawson in front of hotel, supermarket selling bento box at Kitahama Plaza beside hotel, Gyoza No Ohsho restaurant a...
