Very updated hotel. Oddly, I'd say the best part of the room was the bathroom--very modern with a great shower. The room was small like many other rooms in Japan. The location was good--subway right nearby. There are also some restaurants and convenience stores nearby for eating/snacking. Would stay again!

Great hotel with very good installations. Big size rooms with a wide open space toilet. Clean, free wi-fi access and new hotel. The team of the hotel speaks English without problems. Near of it you can find a metro station to go Dountonbori and the rest of the main places in Osaka. Also, there is some restaurants around in which... More

This was the cleanest and most modern hotel that we stayed at for our entire trip. Although it was situated in the business district, slightly outside the main tourist district of Shinsaibashi/Dotonbori, we definitely thought it was worth it for the price that we paid. We wouldn't recommend this place if you are only staying overnight because it takes about... More

We booked this hotel back in November 2011 for 5 days. Osaka was the final part of our trip to Japan. We traveled here after visiting Tokyo and Hakone. Osaka is a wonderful city with plenty to discover each day. Thing to do/see: A boat ride around the city, lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe- 15 minute walk. There are... More

Chose the hotel as stopover to kyoto. Prices were extreme on saturdays and during sakura season. However, the hotel still have reasonable rates despite peak season. Arrived around 9 am at the hotel. Couldn't check in yet to the room as the hotel maintains strict policy of 3pm check in time. Left the luggage and wander around the city area.... More

Great hotel in a nice location. We had the superior double room which was very nicely decorated, modern. It was short walk to the train station and there were convenience stores nearby. Overall very pleasant stay, good value and would definitely stay again.

Given the price we paid, the Hotel Brighton City was incredibly good value. In a quiet area of central Osaka, a few steps away from Kitahama station (and about 10 mins from Yodoyabashi station via the underpass - great for Umeda) and opposite a convenience store, the location was perfect for us. Inside the hotel, rooms and decor and modern,... More

We stayed with a toddler (nearly 2 years). It was a bit of a tight squeeze with the cot but it was still comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It is more of a business hotel in the business district but this means it is quiet (good when you have a toddler!). Easy access via the train anywhere... More

A clean and comfortable hotel. Everything you need for a good functional stay. Excellent wireless and communications services. Small rooms, but very well designed and maintained. Not much of a view, but that is the way of downtown hotels. The staff are very nice. There is a good western-style breakfast restaurant on site. Basically, just a nice, good option.

This was the first hotel we stayed at upon arriving in Japan and it was a lot better than we had expected due to the amazing price we payed and the convenience of the hotel location to the Kitamaya station. We stayed here for 3 nights and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful although their english was limited. We... More
