From Nishinakajima-Minamigata (M14) station on the Midosuji line, it's about six minutes walk to the hotel (there are two Toyoko along the same road, but they are very close to one another). Along the way, there are many eateries, convenience shops, supermarket, so it is a rather pleasant walk from the hotel to the subway station. What I liked: -... More

We have been to other hotels(Nagoya & Kyoto) during this trip, although all their hotels in Japan are clean they are also known for small rooms but this hotel(Toyoko inn) had bigger rooms compared to others we've stayed, like other hotels they are also clean & comfortable but this one has a cozy room different from the rest. I would... More

There are three Toyoko inn hotels near Shin-Osaka station. I have not stayed in the newer one. Mostly I stayed either at Toyoko Inn Shin-osaka Chuo-guchi Honkan, or Shinkan. they are next to each other in a same location. They are both about 6 minutes walk from the center exit of Shin-Osaka station , or 5 minutes from No.1 exit... More

Toyoko Inn is a chain of 2-star hotels (not sure if there is any 3-star among them) found all over Japan and in South Korea as well. This is my second time staying in a Toyoko Inn hotel. The first time was 2 years ago in Hakodate in Hokkiado, which is a great place for a driving holiday. I cannot... More

We've been staying in toyoko inns around the country for many times. On the up side, it's cheap, clean and well located. Even Japanese breakfast is included in the room rate. You have Wifi in your room and you can save 300 yen per day if you don't need your room cleaned and made up every day. You can join... More

I stayed here in transit between flights, trains and a series of meetings. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was the usual for this chain, but was particularly well-cleaned and maintained. It was an excellent choice for a business hotel before catching the bullet train, and it will be on the top of my list for the next... More

This was our first experience with Toyoko Inn hotels in Japan. We spend 3 nights from 4-6 December 2011. If you are coming from Shin-Osaka station, head down to B2 (2 floors down from the Shingansen exit level). There are a lot of small restaurants on this level. Walk toward the exit where the airport bus stops are. From there,... More

Easy to locate. If taking JR, exit from East Exit and follow signs to Central exit. Thereafter, follow the big billboard of Toyoko Inn which is visible if you are back facing the JR Station. JR and Subway stations are just less than 10mins walk away. Convenience stores located at the stations. Laundry available for ¥200 per wash, washing powder... More

We spent three nights at this marvellous superior three star hotel after having checked it out on Tripadvisor. The room was hardly large enough to swing a cat, but who wants to swing cats in hotel rooms? Apart from that everything was perfect. Spotless, amazingly well appointed - there isn't room to list all the ameneties offered with the room... More

We stayed here mainly to visit Kyoto area (most kyoto hotels were full during that time). Shin-osaka station is only 15 mins away from Kyoto by Shinkansen. We have stayed in a number of Toyoko-inn in Japan. This one is no different. It offers the same good level of service , same type of room and amenities. So there is... More
