Good value during peak season where other hotels take you to the cleaners. Location, although not the best but just a slightly longer but comfortable walk to Osaka and Umeda stations. Never mind the adult entertainment nearby. They won't drag you inside. It is peaceful and safe. The downside are the bed mattresses (too soft and lumpy) and the size... More

you find there a kind staff, the hotel is clean, and it is well located just 5 minutes from the station though not so easy to find. I was given a smoking room but they were prompt to change when I asked for a non smoking one.

This hotel didn't disappoint and was value for money. It was clean and large enough for two people and the staff spoke English and were polite. Unfortunately the air con doesn't stay on when you are out of the room, but that's all I can fault with this place. I had read reviews of this hotel being in a dodgy... More

This year, during cherry-blossom-season, the 'Hokke Club Osaka' became my base for about a week of sightseeing/photography/visiting-friends activities in the Kansai-region. And a good choice it was. It's close to Osaka/Umeda station. Actually it's in 10-minute walking range if you don't carry too heavy luggage with you *AND* if you know the whole area over- and underground by heart. Yet... This was the 2nd hotel we stayed at during our vacation in Japan. The hotel is a reasonable distance from the JR Osaka Station, however it can be challenging to travel with your luggage because of the narrow sidewalks and congestion. It's also difficult to cross the street as the area is very car oriented. We found it was easiest... More

The hotel is a value one with just 9,500 yen/night for a twin room. I chose it because it is near to JR Osaka station which is suitable for me as a JR pass holder. But it takes 15 min from JR station and the road is very crowded. The room is quite spacious, 26m2, I can walk around and... More

We spent our first night in Japan and also the last night before leaving the country. The neighborhood is not pretty, but it is safe, quiet and convenient (close to Umeda station). The room is comfortable. The staff is very kind. The breakfast is delicious. There are two choices: western style and japanese style. It was so good that we... More

You can walk to the hotel from Osaka station. It will take about 10 - 15 minutes. There is a big public bath on the top floor. Breakfast buffet is very reasonable costing 945Yen ($13). They also have lunch buffet (850Yen = $10). The hotel is very clean, staffs are friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast is delicious.

We spent 4 nights at the hotel. The hotel is within walking distance (15-20 min) from the Osaka JR and subway stations where the hundreds of shops are. The best thing about the hotel is that the room is spacious by Japanese standard. We had three beds in the twin room and there was still plenty of space for luggage... More

My partner and I stayed at Hotel Hokke club for three nights. Initially we found it quite hard to find as we only had a Japanese map (a map off google would have been great in hindsight). The staff were friendly but did not speak much English. The hotel appeared to cater more for business people but it was the... More
