This place was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. The cost to get in is also minimal (it might have been $10, but definitely not above $20), so very very worthwhile. Inside, the men and women spas are separated, and within each section I think there are about 6 differently themed spas. The women's spa also had an outdoor spa... More

Went to Spa World for a sauna and relax because my hotel didn't have these facilities. Mooched around the differently themed and heated pools and saunas. All quite okay but not very luxurious or sophisticated. Liked the salt sauna where you can grab handfuls of sea salt and exfoliate and sting to your heart's desire. So, I did as expected... More

We were looking for a hotel with onsen in Osaka on 5 April. As that day was Saturday almost all the good hotels were either fully booked or too expensive. Through trip advisor we manage to find only City Plaza Hotel which has onsen bath at its roof top. However through some more search we found an even better Onsen... More

We tried the water park on the top floor was fun! If we are earlier we should have bought the day pass for it. The spas is good however gotta book your masseurs earlier as we didn't get it - not enough masseurs. The food there not fantastic but good enough for me. You Should Be Here!

The JPY1000 entry promotion was still on when we visited in Dec 2013. I stayed mainly at the family onsen (level 8) where there is both outdoor and indoor spa. Must go to the outdoor spa (Bade zone) as it is nice to feel the coolness of the winter weather while soaking in the hot spa. For those who are... More

Once in a lifetime experience, you won't forget it! Totally relaxing. Only $10 and you can stay there however long you want, many different spas to choose from including salt and herb saunas. Best if you go in alone for your own privacy.

This spa is very nice (even if advertisement are really too much compared to the truth) But it has just shown me how extremist could be japanese people especially in kansai...because I got a tattoo. Ok it's forbidden but I am looking like a real westerner, my tattoo is small and I didn't annoy anyone but people complain about that... More

Honestly before I went there I was a little skeptical, but since my sister had booked a night there we might as well give it a try. The hotel turned out to be quite pleasant and the onsen quite enjoyable. Place is next to JR/Nankai Shin-imamiya and Subway Dobutsuenmae stations. And it's right next to Shinsekai, where you will find... More

Do note that the Festive Gate Shopping Centre (next to SpaWorld) is no longer in operation. The whole building has been abandoned hence making SpaWorld a bit isolated and hard to find if you are not taking subway at Dobutseuenmae . I travelled with my hubby and parents. We stayed 1 night in the Japanese room. Though small, just nice... More

I loved Spaworld! Each floor has a series of different themes. Depending on the month, females get the even floors and males the odd, or vice versa. I only tried it when it was on a certain theme. They have different pools, hot, warm, cold, super-cold, and even some with medicinal properties for the health. I loved the salt sauna... More
