Room was clean and furnished with a modern look and the basic amenities. Just next door to the Shin-Osaka train station and Shinkansen, so it is very convenient. Some road noise even on the 16th floor. Restaurant was okay.

We had stayed at many hotels in different parts of the world, this was the first hotel that charges a fee for ice. When we complained to the staff at check-out, he just shrugged it off and gave no response. He was not the only one, all of the staff we dealt with lacked facial expression and were mechanical. Stayed at this hotel during a business trip to Japan. The hotel is just a two minutes walk from the Shin-Osaka Station which is a big plus point. The Standard Twin Room is spacious and comfortable. The negatives of this property would be:- No complimentary Drinking water in the room, Internet at an additional Cost and only LAN cable available,... More

I booked hotel a month in advance and paid $195/night with Hotels.com. After other charges it was about $230/night. After checking in, I checked hotels.com again and found price was now $125. I guess you get a better deal if you book last minute. Other than that, everything is pretty much what other reviewers have said. We are using JR... More

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past 5-6 years. It's absolutely convenient to the Shin Osaka JR train station which is literally adjacent (attached) and is one reason it's so desirable. There are many places to eat nearby in the train station. The hotel is comfortable. The rooms are on the small size but the beds are... More

This hotel is very conveniently located right next to the shin Osaka train station. It's only 2 minutes walk. The rooms are standard Japanese. It's a bit dated but decent. The breakfast has choice of western or Japanese.note you only get coffee with western breakfast. There is also a bar on the top flour

Centrally located, just outside Shin-Osaka train station (exit next to McDonald restaurant). The room was clean and the staffs are polite and efficient.. check-in within minutes. It could be better if they have free WiFi in the room. We have a room facing the Shinkansen train track.. can catch a glimpse of the famous train if you didn't get to... More

Good business hotel. Conveniently located just 2 min walking distance from Shin Osaka Stationb. Service is good. The only setback is that it doesnt have wi-fi service in rooms. Cable access is possible though and there is wi-fi at the lobby.

Only 50 metres from the Shin-Osaka station, this hotel was a blessing during a recent business trip to Japan. Well appointed rooms (and large by Japanese standards), clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was most accommodating as we arrived before our rooms were ready. The simply took our bags and put them in our rooms as they were ready... More

After a momentary hesitation upon exiting the “East” and only gate out of Shin-Osaka station (from the Haruka Airport Express) we then followed instructions provided in detail by iTwins in Tripadvisor Nov 2013 “Best Affordable Japanese Hotel so far” to the "West" gate and right to the front door of the Hotel Laforet – just outside the station. Good size... More
