We were not impressed by this room unfortunately. The room was terribly dated. Cigarette smoke was overpowering as soon as you were in the corridor & invaded through the air conditioner. The beds were uncomfortable with the worst pillow I have ever experienced. The bathroom was cold with basic/ poor amenities. There was a kettle provided but no tea/coffee cups... More

20 mins walk to JR Train Station, 10mins walk to nipponbashi train station.30 mins walk to osaka castle. heart of osaka. 20 mins walk to bus station going to osaka kansai airport. 2star hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. 2mins walk to grocery where you can buy ready to eat authentic japanese food..

There are better hotels out there for an equivalent price if you book earlier. Hotel Aldebaran was in the midst of renovations to their frontage when we checked in. There is no clear signage to indicate the hotel, and the name on the door is in fact wrong. "Keito" was the name, and luckily we had images of the hotel... More

My cousin and me stayed at the Aldebaran in March 2011 for 10 days. On first impressions it looked run down and had an odd smell in reception. The rooms were not very impressive either, they were old and stunk of cigarettes. There was a restaurant but it wasn't actually open for business. It wasn't too far from the train... More
