I reserved the hotel through Expedia website. Information was specified, you can walk from the station in 5 minutes. But it's not, I walked 10-15 minutes. Around the hotel has a many street food ,mini mart and near The National Museum of Art, Osaka. Inside the room's smallest for 3 people, but that has a great bathroom. So breakfast good... More

We kind of had no choice on where to stay for the last 5 days of our trip across Japan so we ended up here. Let's start with the GOOD: Free breakfast (although the choices were too few- at least it gets you on your feet), Near supermarkets and a very good okonomiyaki place! Located in a quiet area. Now... Unless you cannot get room, then pick this inn. The room is pretty room, we suffered on day 1 when we checked in as the room badly of a smoking room. I brought my own air fresher also cannot clear the smell. I even hang w towel on the aircon and spray the air fresher on it to reduce the... More

Universal Studio will cost approx 3000Yen 30 AUD. The breakfast is included.... More

My two friends and I enjoyed our stay in Family Inn Fifty's Osaka despite its location. The nearest station (Higobashi) is a 10 minute walk from the hotel but since it was winter when we arrived, it was a perfect way to immerse oneself in the city. If we had to walk during summer, then it would be a different... More

We stayed at Family Inn for two nights. From JR Station Bus # 88 takes you close to the hotel within 10 minutes. Note that the hotel is loccated a little offside the main shopping areas, making it a tranquil alternative from the busy city life. Our room was fine, providing us with all we needed. Though the interior appeared... More

Actually this hotel was much better than I was expecting. A small room but the size is actually large by Japanese standards. A clean hotel with a pretty decent continental breakfast. The location is pretty far away from Namba station. I would recommend just taking a taxi to the hotel from Namba if you are a family like us.

I requested a non-smoking room and was given a smoking. Couldn't sleep due to the thick smell of smoke and had to sleep with the windows open which wasn't actually allowed. Breakfast is ok. Location is pretty bad.

I stayed in a double room in Aug 2010. It's quite far away from shopping district. Rooms are okay but not expect too much! We have fresh bakery, egg and free drinks (juice, green tea, milk...) for breakfast. You can access internet with two computers provided and free wifi at the common area. I and my friends did enjoy the... More

The hotel staff is incredibly friendly, helpful, open minded and kind. Unlike some Japanese family owned accommodation, this hotel never infringes your privacy. Easy going. You will feel at home straight after the arrival. Easy access to the city centre and virtually every key sightseeing spot. Yet, it is calm and peaceful, where you will forget that you are actually...
