I travelled to Osaka with a group of 3 other friends, and had booked in for a room of 4. We were told that the room would be able to accommodate 4 adults with 2 double beds. We were surprised to find the room extremely small, could hardly fit 2 people on a bed. Worst still was that the beds... More

We stayed for 4 nights during a peak season. With a family of 4, we have to get 2 rooms which lucky enough are just right next to each other. Rooms are good enough for two average size people and luggages though we still have space for walking. Some staffs have difficulty with their English so communication is low, but... More

We stay here for 2 days. The hotel location is not far from Namba OCAT bus terminal, so you could easily reach it from airport or from other city in Japan. From Namba OCAT you could walk for 15 minutes of pay 680 ¥ for taxi. This hotel also close to Daikokucho Metro train station by 4 minutes walk. Since... More

The room is small and cozy as expected in Japan. Personally, I really favour the separated bathroom, toilet concept. Hangs new set of bath towels outside the room even when room cleaning is opted out. Rooms along the lift is quiet and walking distance to Namba parks. Family mart just below the hotel and small eateries along the road.

Pros:- 1) English speaking staffs. 2) Clean room. 3) Western set breakfast. 4) Family mart just downstairs. 5) Excellent Wifi in the room. Less than ideal:- 1) Heat not evenly distributed in the room as the heater is at a corner of the room. 2) No phone in the room, making it difficult for room to room calls. Phone available... More

Hotels in Namba, osaka were fully booked when we went there so we booked at Hotel Relief. It was home for us for 5 nights. It's just one station away from namba Station, you go out at exit 1, turn left and the hotel is a 5 minutes walk straight. Look out for the letter R signage. It has a... More

My family stayed here for 4 days. If was a little hard to find on the online and later I found our that this hotel was renewed and changed from Dormy Inn. It has a little sauna & spa on the highest floor, about 5-7people to stay in one time in the shower booth and two hot tubs and one... More

We couldn't stay at our usual hotel in Osaka as it was a late booking and was already sold out so stayed at Relief which was well priced and had some good reviews. The location is decent, being only a 12 minute walk south of Namba and, while the hotel is very simple and somewhat old fashioned design wise it's... More

Recently renewed Hotel. Budget Hotel Pro: 1. Very relaxing Japanese bath: I liked the hot sauna about 90 degrees centigrade. I liked this very much as it would cost 25$ minimum at any other place and the convenience of having it in your hotel makes a difference. 2. Taxi takes you there from the nearest JR station (Namba or Imamiya)... More

Its not easy to find the location after get off at the OCAT by bus from Kansai airport to Namba at night. I took a taxi about 660 yen ( approx. 10USD) for less than 8 mins ride. There are many restaurants and convenient store near the neighbour. The next day, I walked to the Namba station, just right turn... More
