I stayed a Hotel Mikado for 5 nights in April 2014. I stayed with my boyfriend in a traditional Japanese style twin room. We arrived from Australia late at night. The directions provided to us by the hostel were very clear and easy to understand. We got only one JR train from Kansai airport directly to the hostel. From there... More

Mikado Hotel I stayed here only one night, it was a pleasant experience, located a few meters away from the nearest subway and conveniently connected to the city's airport. Reception and check-in fast and easy enough, I noticed some trouble for the staff to speak English. This accommodation is suitable for those who have a limited budget and unpretentious. Simple... I stayed at Hotel Mikado for one night in Osaka before moving to another hostel. I stayed in a single tatami room and found it quite uncomfortable. Maybe it's just the futon style, but I normally enjoy futons. The mix shared bathrooms were not super clean and the whole place had a dank smell and feel. Perhaps it's due to... More

I stayed at Hotel Mikado in April of 2014 with my girlfriend in a Japanese style twin room. For western travelers, if you want to experience something different with your accommodation, try the Japanese style room. It is basically a tatami mat with a mattress over the top of it. It is awesome to sample a different style of accommodation,... More

Throughout 6 nights at Hotel Mikado, I felt so warm and satisfied with every aspect of the hotel. I had never seen such nice and kind staff like this hotel before. I also had several enjoyable conversations with other backpackers in the main dining room. Even though there are only three bathroom, I didn't spend much time waiting for taking... More

I received great help from the staffs. There are many staffs here, all very friendly and helpful. Without them, I can not enjoy my holiday so much. They make my day. Secondly, the location is great. Thirdly ,the room rate very cheap, what they provided already exceeded what I paid.
