Hotel Villa Fontaine Shinsaibashi, Osaka Stayed here for the 2nd time last week, was here last year too. This time, the room was cleaner and more quietly (room 608), its bigger than room 603, both are relax-rooms. Relax-room is the same as Standard-room, except you will have an extra massage-chair or foot-massage machine. The location is the best, close to... More

I agree with all other reviewers -- this place is about (and maybe only about) location. Location: It's right on Shinsaibashi, the busiest covered shopping street at the heart of Osaka. The hotel is 3 minutes' walk from exit #1 (and 1 minute walk via the basement of a commercial building, if you know the short cut). You can walk... More

We didn’t do any research on this hotel prior to staying. We only made a quick check on its location on our mobile after a local agent offered a good rate during a travel fair. It seemed that its location near Shinsaibashi train station is a great selling point. We landed in Itami Airport from Chitose and took the Limousine... More

Booked this hotel only because of ONE reason... great location. Did not expect much from the services anyway.... We did request for a non-smoking room when making the reservation, however, we were given a 'non-smoking' room (only with the ashtray taken away ??!). The room smelled obviously a SMOKING room before ! We asked for another room but they said... More

Bad manners receptionist, worst Japanese girl ever that I met. Ruin the Japanese good service name!!!! Lost my branded shirt in the room and they claimed that it's NOT their responsibilities. Irresponsible people! Crushed the image of saying Japanese has good service

We were in Osaka over the New Year holiday. The Osaka Villa Fontaine is very convenient, and is just a short walk from the Shinsaibashi station. Come out from exit no 8. Rooms are generally small, but clean as always (we had stayed at the Tokyo Villa Fontaine in the previous years). Breakfast was sufficient though it was the same... More

We had a little difficulty finding the hotel. When we did get to it, the sign outside was a little bit obscured. We arrived at 2.45pm but they would not check us in until 3pm! My husband had to ask to at least complete the paperwork meanwhile. The room was small, but not too tiny. There was enough room to... More

The room was tiny with no place to hang one's clothes. The bathroom was a plastic cabin installed inside the room. We booked the Relaxation room, but I thin the only difference between that and a normal room waas the foot massage machine. Breakfast was ok but below average. The location however was great and since we were in Osaka... More

This is not meant for chunky butts. No offense to anyone but the beds are tiny. If u are over weight good for one person. The room can only fit a single bed, even though they say two. Free breakfast. Their is a subway sandwich shop n other resto near by. Great location for fast shopping. Their is a high... More
