I was traveling alone and this place suited me. It is a bit out of the way in a business area. Then again it is a hotel chain aimed at business people. You can get a subway here and you get of at Minamimorimachi. It is one stop away, however Osaka station is the most convoluted station I have ever... More

We read the reviews and booked the hotel. When we got there, we couldn't remember why we chose that hotel. It's 1 stop away from the Osaka Station, but it's not the Osaka JR station where we traveled from. It's not exactly in the center of Umeda/Osaka. There's a couple family marts around, and that's it. It's true that it's... More

We stayed at Dormy Inn for seven nights as a main base to explore the Kansai area. Location: The location was not exactly near Umeda or Namba, but it was near a metro station, which was good, and they also provide free shuttle to Osaka station in the morning. The “Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai" is also nearby which is the longest shopping... More

This was our first night in Japan and was only ever going to be a one-night stopover, so Japan accommodation being expensive we went for the more cost effective option. At the Dormy Inn you get just that, the room may be tiny but it was clean and warm which was all we really wanted. We had to take turns... More

My husband and I had a very enjoyable three nights stay at this hotel. This hotel is located near a subway station so getting around is very easy. There are also a lot of restaurants near by if you want to eat closer to the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and explained everything so easily. Our... More

We spend two nights in double room on 6th floor. This hotel is in favour of japanese. The breakfast was japanese style but still very good. Only the coffee was bad and very mild. Double room was quite small and no wardrobe, which seems to be typical in Japan (?). The washbasin was in a room, not in toilet and... More

This hotel was great value for money with excellent onsen facilities. A great location which is 2 minutes walk from the subway, the bed was comfortable and staff pleasant. The rooms are typical small in Japan however this one was spacious. Quite and friendly.

Very tiny room with an amazingly efficient mix of toilet and bedroom :) room on high floor has a nice view on the surrounding. Very nice Japanese style common baths with hot water baths. All modern and although tiny rooms are quite comfy. Would definitely go back.

I chose to stay in this hotel due to its close proximity to the subway. It took about 5 minutes to walk to Minamimorimachi station and was close to restaurants such as Mos Burger. It was very thoughtful for the restaurant to provide free supper on a daily basis. They offered a bowl of hot ramen at 9.30 to 11pm.... More

I was expecting a tiny room with an even tinier bathroom but I was really surprise it wasn't as small as expected. Check in was pretty smooth with no hiccup. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel provide free ramen noodles from 9.30pm onwards and there's a hot spring on the 8th floor of the hotel. There's a supermarket nearby... More
