This little hotel is in the red light area but they leave western people alone. There is heap of bars and restaurants around it and its walking distance to Osaka station. The rooms are pretty good size by Japanese standards and the staff are very courteous and usually there is someone who speaks English on the desk.

The hotel is clean and located in the midst of restaurants and shops. Really appreciate their great help and kindness in getting back my bag pack which i left inside the train upon arrival in Osaka. They made the stay even more memorable!

Hotel Kinki is a great hotel for seeing Osaka. Within walking distance from Osaka/Umeda Station. If arriving on the Shinkansen, you will arrive at Shin-Osaka station, but it's only a 3 minute train ride between Shin-Osaka and Osaka/Umeda station. The hotel is located on a very busy side street, which is great if like me, you enjoy a vibrant, energetic... More

Every evening onwards there are alot of gangster looked men hanging around that area until midnight or next day morning. Although they do not disturb foreigners but quite irritating as they blocked the path, smoke or talk loudly. Prostitution is another factors made me wrote this review.Lots of ladies with sexy dressed as well as holding the signboard with types... More

We booked hotel kinki for our osaka trip, and the hotel is situated in a district that somehow felt like a "red light district". the location wise, not too near to Osaka main JR station. need to walk about 15-20min to the main JR station. It is nearer to Umeda station though, probably 10min walk. Not so recommended for single... More

I always stay here when I go to Osaka has been for the last three years (I go about once a year). It is cheap, very clean and the staff are very polite, kind and helpful. It is excellent value for money. It is close to many train stations and to shops and dining areas. It is in the middle... More

Clean room, toilet is separated from bathroom, nice receptionists and near train station. But room is too small ( Tripple room). I think it is good value, if you compare with others in this town. It is convenient for me to go to Kyoto and Nara. Next time, will be here.

Hotel location is nice, near train station, around 10 mins walk from JR Osaka Station and many departement stores around this hotel. Room is small as everywhere in japan but clean. Some staff can speak english very well.

Location is great, just a few minutes walk from Osaka station if you know the way. Took us some walking around at night when we first arrive thou. Staffs are friendly. Extensive amenities are available free of charge. Room is bigger than I expected. Toilet shower room is clean. Many late night eateries around the area too.
