I recommend this hotel because of its perfect location, clean rooms and helpful staff. Very near many malls, eating places and convenience stores. Wish they had TV channels in English specially featuring Tourist must see places just like in Singapore. Buffet breakfast was good for its price. Very peaceful surroundings near business's district. Use of internet at the lobby is... More

We stayed at this hotel a month ago. The location is very convenient, right by the subway station. However, that creates a problem if your room is on the side facing the railway tracks as you can hear the noise of the trains at night. There were three of us and most hotels I had stayed at would give out... More

As other reviewers have said, the greatest advantage of this hotel is its location. You can walk to JR Osaka Station and Umeda Subway Station in 5 and 10 mins respectively. The proximity to Umeda's 'underground castle' lets you have access to all major department stores in the district with ease. However, I have a little reservations for its housekeeping... More

First time traveled to Osaka, Japan. Worried about everything since first time, chose a hotel which is walking distance to the train station is the best choice. Osaka Station is a very big station but is not hard to find the hotel. Just follow the sign of Sakuradori Exit. Then pass by Umesan Kouji eateries building, across the road then... More

I found this Hotel to be overpriced. Your standard room is your usual basic small room with a nice bathroom. But what I really hated was that it had a TV which you had to slip coins into and the key card entre which you have to incert to get and the electics up and running. Very tacky. I don,t... More

A few minutes to Osaka Station. Easy access and room is considered reasonable size compared to other hotels i Japan. The ramen stores on the way to Osaka is a must try! Shopping centres, food areas are a few steps away, Highly recommended!

very close to Osaka station, take the Sakurabashi Gate exit, cross the road , walk through the arcade and along a little way , you will see hotel on your left across the small road. Rooms are quite tiny and bed was lumpy : but so close to many cafes, a supermarket at beginning of arcade and food court in... More

A group of us booked 7 rooms for 4 nights separately arriving at the hotel at different time. We all requested for non-smoking room. When we checked in, we were all told the same thing - non-smoking rooms were not available - FULL. Some of us were lucky that their smoking rooms were smoke free. Mine was unbearable! I had... More

The triple room is tiny so expect that. We asked for a non smoking room. They put us in a "non smoking room" in a "smoking floor". I know becausrewe were provided an ash tray in our room and saw cigarettes on the trash can by the elevator. I called the reception and asked if it was non smoking. She... More

The Hearton Nishi Umeda is located 5 mins walk from Osaka JR station, which is in the city centre, There are plenty of food outlets nearby & the Osaka Station itself is a shopping precinct with underground shopping malls & food malls aplenty. The hotel itself is little above average, but the rooms are on the small side.We stayed for... More
