I stayed here with my husband and 2 kids aged 14 & 16 for 5 nights. The room is well equiped. Clean up room service was provided daily. Washing and drying machine located on ground floor without restriction on using time. The charge of them is very reasonable. If you have to check in very late, they could make special... More

Spent 3 nights at this warm hostel. Staff are all very friendly. Room is regular to small in Japanese standard but necessary facilities are available. The location is close to Kyoto station and very close to bus station of a few useful routes. Neighborhood are quiet and organized. All stars!

My husband and I stayed here with our two sons (18 & 19) for 5 nights. Very satisfied with the location of this accommodation - within 10 minutes walk of Kyoto Station. For a budget hotel, very good facilities within the room & at the accommodation itself. Very helpful staff. This place has been well thought out. Separate toilet and... More

Our family stayed in Kyoto for four nights and found the staff incredibly helpful. Our room had a small kitchen with a fridge and kettle and there is a larger well-equipped kitchen downstairs. Every thought has been out into how to make the traveller's life easier - from the free laundry soap to the mini maps of the area detailing... More

Stayed in Kyoto 6 days and this was the place to stay. We did some research but the amount of detail they provided to us was incredible. In each room there is a binder and in that binder is EVERYTHING YOU NEED. From what are the closest restaurants around( including maps). Staff are so friendly too! Just don't unplug the... More

I stayed here with 2 other adults and a 2 year old toddler. The room was big and clean. Has a small kitchen area with fridge and sink. Clean bathroom and toilet. It also has a sliding door to a small balcony. It's about a 10 minutes walk to Kyoto station but for the price it was worth it. There... More

We had never stayed in a ryokan before and wanted to give it a try. After staying at the Budget Inn, we never stayed in anything except ryokans again. They're amazing. The rooms here are large, ultra-clean, comfortable, minimal, and perfect. I personally love the tatami smell and the rooms just radiated energy. Sliding window, comforter for the floor, and... More

The set up at Budget Inn is perfect. The friendly welcome from the staff was wonderful. All the staff were helpful and equipped us to make the most of our short time in Kyoto. The location is excellent, walking distance to the station and in among great restaurants, shops and transport links, (all of which the team go out of... More

Price is reasonable and location is also good for sightseeing. Stuffs are very kind and they all know about not only Kyoto but Kansai Area. We have been there for 3 nights and 4 of us completely satisfied to this "Budget Inn". Everything inside the room like hair drier, refrigerator, air conditioner, electric jug and shower worked perfectly.
