we stayed for 4 nights and it was a really good experience. The hostel is really clean, it has kitchen, so you can buy food and eat there. The last day we were going to Tokyo by bus at 23:00, so we ask if we can wait in the common areas, and they didn't make problems for that.

Clean, familiar and funny place. The perfect definition of guest house, to live as a couple or with a group of friends, offering simple rooms of different size, including twin rooms. All the accomodation are, indeed, simple and clean and share one bathroom each floor provided with soap, shampoo and conditioner. Super suggested

We loved the place in Hiroshima and as a result decided to stay Kyoto - they could only take us for 1 night due to being overbooked. Great place - spacy, new, lots of light, programming offered, tips for travelers and most importantly the people working there are great - you can tell they love doing what they are doing... More

We stayed here for one of our two nights in Kyoto. The location sketch in their website is not very accurate; use google maps instead. The shared washroom is clean. The kitchen though hasn't much utensils that can be used for free unlike in other youth hostel in the area. The room that we had was cozy but smelled like... More

Not far, about 10-12 mins walk from Kyoto Station, and about 5 mins to Shichijo Underground Station, which is only a couple of stops from Sanjo and Gion. Place gets busy but everything seems to run pretty smoothly. There is a locker allocated to store your shoes and slippers are worn around the building. I stayed in a double room... More

While the hostel is close to several bus stops, it's a little far from the station/subway. The second floor has a large common/dining area and kitchen, with the dormitories on the upper floors accessed via a lift. Each bed has its own locker (enough to fit a suitcase), and there are bathrooms and wash basins on every floor. Possible improvements:... More

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it very efficiently run and organised. The rooms are small, but sufficient if you are just there to sleep. The cafe on site is ok, but not big serves for the price. However across the road is a pizza place with beAutiful meals, and a little further towards the station there are... More

Good sized rooms, good showers and seemed clean. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful, both with information on the hostel and the city. Near the station, which is helpful if you arrive on the Shinkansen. You can hire bikes to explore the city, they aren't too expensive and it's more convenient to rent them here than anywhere... More

Me and my husband stayed 4 nights at K's House Kyoto and it was great. Very clean and comfortable, although double rooms are quite small. Friendly staff, they gave a lot of tips to visit the city. Common spaces are good.

This is our second trip to K's, and everything was as good as we remembered! K's is a ten minute walk from the station, staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and great to meet other people during our stay. Everything is well priced and convenient including hiring power adapters when we didn't bring the right ones! Thanks for... More
