Good value hotel. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, few minutes walk to the train station and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Convenience store located just in front of the hotel. The room is small but clean and staff were polite and can speak English very well.

This hotel is a very standard Japanese budget hotel. Small room and bed, but the room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The location is out of the centre of Kyoto, it is about 2-3 stops on the train from Kyoto station, but is within walking distance of the beautiful Inari Shrine. The hotel itself is a 10-15 minute walk... More

For me, the only image I had of Kyoto before the Japan visit was the vermillion gates of Fushimi Inari & it was imperative I stay close to it. This was my rationale for going with this hotel. Yes it is budget. Which in Japan means a small but impeccably clean room. No frills like a swimming pool or spa.... More

Apart from the Ok location (only ecause is near Inari Taisha), this hotel is not very well kept or clean. The room was small (which I don't mind as in Japan most rooms are not very large) but it was also dirty. When we entered it smelled as if the room hadn't been opened for months.. Not recomended

We found this hotel to be quiet, comfortable and the service good. There is a bus that leaves from outside the hotel; as well as the nearby train station. One of the highlights of this hotel is the local restaurants nearby which are good value and allow travellers to experience local food and life. There is a cafe with the... More

This hotel is just a 5 min walk from the Fukakusa Station of the Keihan Line. We travelled from the Kansai Airport on the Kansai Thru Pass, which allowed us to travel on (almost) all privately-run railways and was quite convenient. It's in a quiet neighbourhood in Fushimi which is of walkable distance to the famous Fushimi Shrine. The hotel... More

This is a hotel in a peaceful neighborhood of Kyoto (a very beautiful and peaceful city in general). The hotel is located near Japan rail Inari station; there is another station nearby by a private rail also. The famous Fushimi Inari shrine is nearby and where there is a big tourist area nearby full of café, shops, restaurants near that. The... More

Given the price we paid for (8500 yen per night), the hotel really outstanding. Would recommend to others. Hotel is dated and small but clean and comfortable. Good location. Close to train station, convenient stores and a few restaurant. There is also a beer shop nearby, which is a plus for us.

My only key issue with this hotel is that the room is really small, with barely enough space to lay out your luggage. The aircon functioned well but has no thermostat control. Otherwise, I found the hotel to provide decent value. It's location is few stops off the the main tourist area of Gion but the neighbourhood is safe and... More

Good price, good-enough comfort and friendly staff. This suburban hotel is close to station where access to Kyoto Station is convenient and quick. The in-house breakfast is also pretty good, and cheap enough.
