The most important thing to know about this B&B is that there are no real walls. It is located in an old merchant house, which sounds quaint and atmospheric, but in reality means two awful things. My wife and I were really happy staying here. Probably the best part is your innkeepers. They are Canadian and I think Austrian. We were traveling across Japan, staying at ryokans, and in the midst of this “full emersion,” it was nice to “come up for air” for a few days for a good western breakfast (NOT fish and rice)... more
