B & B Juno was a great experience. Keiko our hostess also owns Keiko B & B . She went out of her way to make us as comfortable as possible. It is a very affordable option. WE went out for our evening meal but had a very nice breakfast. We spent more the following night at a traditional Ryokan,... More

My friend and I stayed at B&B Juno for 4 days whilst in Kyoto, I can only give it a strong recommendation. The B&B is a beautiful house situated down a quiet side street. The room was very comfortable. Keiko was an great host and prepared an excellent Japanese breakfast every morning (the option of a western breakfast was there... More

A great japanese traditional experience but in the same time you'll feel like being home. It's next to the Path of Philosophy and Ginkaku-ji Temple but a little far from the center of Kyoto (15/20 min in bus)

We stayed here for a week and loved it. It is in a nice area near Ginkakuji and well serviced by buses and easy to get around although would be hard to find initially. We caught a taxi from JR station and gave the driver the printout of Japanese instructions to get there. Keiko who runs it is very nice... More

We spent 2 nights in this small ryokan and it was our best ryokan experience in Japan (we stayed in 3 others who were also good but not at this level). The welcome from Keiko and her advice regarding what to visit / where to eat / where to rent a bike were absolutely fantastic. She speaks perfect English and... More

We stayed in Juno for the whole duration of our stay in Kyoto - the place was rather hidden, in a small one-way road next to the main street. As this is not exactly a ryokan, but a minshuku, expect to run into other customers - you will have breakfast at the same table, share the same bathroom. The room... More

B&B Juno is a Japanese style B&B (minkushu) located within walking distance of Gingakuji (Silver Pavilion) and Philosopher's Walk - 2 prime attractions of Kyoto. Unfortunately, it's pretty far from everything else; but it's just a minute away from a bus stop, and Kyoto's bus/subway network is pretty extensive, so transportation to/from main sights is not a big issue. (buses... More

This lovely little ryokan is located near Gingkakuji (10 min walk) and is along the city bus route. We had no problems moving around in Kyoto form here. There is also some food outlets and a convenience store nearby. The owner, Keiko is extremely helpful, speaks English and really made our stay such a pleasant one. We had a room... More

The b&b is a beautifully decorated old Japanese house located in a quiet suburban street. The location is fantastic as it is a short, scenic walk to some important temples & the philosophers path. The area in general is a great place to walk around in & observe the Japanese neighborhood. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby of all... More

Ian and his partner have thought of every detail at B&B Juno. The rooms are beautiful, with soft comfy futon beds, plenty of space, and thoughtful Japanese decor that make it much more than just a bed for the night. The bathroom is immaculate. The breakfasts are hearty, varied and beautifully presented. Ian and his partner are very friendly and... More
