Spend 3 Days in kyoto. Hotel is in a great location. Staff super helpful. For example the breakfast staff knew that my wife is gluten free from dinner the night before. If one needs a guide the concierge can request a taxi with a licensed guide.

This nicely decorated hotel is located next to Kyoto National Museum and Sanjusangen-do Temple. Hotel staff are incredibly friendly and professional. Buffet breakfast offers reasonable selection and tasty food. My family of three enjoyed our stay.

This hotel has a staff that goes above and Beyond the top level of service. They helped Each and every time we needed it, and they Went out of their way in doing so. As for location, don't let that concern you. It is approximately 1000 meters from the Shichijo Station which is only two stations from the Gion Station.... More

This hotel is garden style and decorated in an elegant minimalist style. Our bathroom was absolutely beautiful. We had an early mishap in the restaurant, and the staff more than compensated by ordering complimentary taxis, providing needed translation services to coordinate with the rest of our group that stayed in another location. I was just amazed by the effort every... More

I stayed three nights in the Hyat Regency and I'm quite pleased with the hotel overall. The location is very good, just a 10-minute bus ride from the train station and from the Gion area. There are several bus stops within one block from the hotel (in Kyoto you will use the bus system because the temples and shrines are... More

My partner and I are big fans of the Hyatt chain - see my review of the Park Hyatt Hamburg. The Hyatt Regency Kyoto lived up to our high expectations, possibly even exceeding them. It is in a lovely location, quiet and green, just opposite the National Museum, not completely in the centre but less than a 3min walk to... More

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kyoto for 5 nights. We really enjoyed the hotel. The style and decor is soothing and minimalist with pops of color for vibrancy. There were a lot of us so I booked their largest suite, which they advertise as a 2 bedroom suite. In American terms, I really think it was a junior suite... More

The hotel itself is tranquil and serene, with its bamboo and its calmness. It is right by the museum and by Sanjusagendo temple, putting it in an advantageous spot. The rooms are traditional Japanese, by hotel standards, and quite peaceful. The service is very good, and the staff is very helpful with directions, reservations, and general advice. This is the... I had a short stay here during a vacation to Kansai and came in from Osaka. I took the Keihan Line from Yodoyabashi in Osaka which took us straight to Shichijo Station which is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Walking wasn’t too bad, even with luggage, and the station is very handy for getting around the city. The... More
