Location: Average. It requires you to travel 1 subway stop from the main station, and it's not within walking distance of any other major attraction. So location gets only average. Ambience: Average. Feeling and ambience too are average: very clean area, clean building. New lobby but nothing special. Rooms: Average. They are clean (ours had a stained carpet), beds are... More

We stayed just for a couple of nights at this place. It is quite far from the Kyoto station and located near Gojo subway station. The problem is to locate the subway line that goes to Gojo from Kyoto as it involves quite a walk. Secondly, there are hardly any restaurants and eateries around this hotel. The rooms are better... I chose to stay in this hotel due to its close proximty to the subway and suited to our budget. It was a less than 5 minutes walk to the Gojo Station. Gojo station was also one stop away from Kyoto Main station. The size of the room was just nice for the two of us but wifi was only... More

I really liked this hotel. Great location, very clean. Helpful staff. When I checked in, they gave me an English information page which was extremely helpful. There is also a bath on the top floor of the hotel - which is amazing. If you haven't yet experienced the wonder and joy of a public bath in Japan... Well then. You... More

Very friendly staff with nice and comfortable rooms for the price. The hotel is within walking distance of many attractions such as kyoto station & a-cho entertainment arcade. It's also. Short walk to a few small restaurants and convenience stores which is great for when you're hungry. All-in-all it's a neat and tidy place to stay; would highly recommend.

Traveling with only iPhones/iPads, the wired internet in the room wasn't particularly useful. If you can bring along a wireless router, I would definitely recommend it! We actually ended up walking back down toward the station to the Yodobashi Camera electronics store and spending $30 on a tiny USB-powered "hotel router" so that we could have WiFi in our room.... My bf and I had a fantastic stay here in April 2013. (Note: TripAdvisory won't let me select the actual date we stayed here. We indeed stayed in April 2013, not Sept 2013.) Price: The cost for 5 nights was $583 USD, and did not include breakfast. We thought the accommodations suited the price very well, and was a great... More

I stayed over one night in this hotel. It is around a 15 minute walk from Kyoto station and although it does have a handful of gardens/temples close by I found my stay in my next hotel right next to Kyoto station a great deal more convenient for travelling around Kyoto along with having a selection of restaurants. This hotel... More

I was looking for a reasonably priced hotel not far from Kyoto Station, and this hotel fit the bill. The staff were incredibly professional and kind. The hotel was pristine, and the fresh flowers in the lobby were a nice touch. I was bummed that my room rate did not include breakfast (as Expedia indicated it did), but I found... More

Very affordable and spotlessly clean. The top floor bath with a view of kyoto tower is a must. Short walk to Tojo station but we walked to Shijo karasuma/ santo kawaramachi area easily. I booked a single to share with my 5y o son and they upgraded us to a twin room. Thank you!
