Gojo Guest House is conveniently located near Kiyomizu-dera, one of the famous temples in Kyoto. It is also a short walk from many other top tourist spots in the city. If walking isn't your idea of a vacation, no problem! The city bus pass for tourists is available at the reception desk and is very convenient. If you are arriving... More

Excellent service, great breakfast, very comfortable place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed with my cousinthe dorms for 3-4 nights and one in private room. Heated and very cozy when its 0°C out side :3 breakfast and coffee is great and only ¥300. Defiantly going to stay here next time I come to Kyoto!

Easy access to most sites within the Higashiyama districts on the eastern side of the city, and is close to public transit so you can get elsewhere. My brother and... More

A nice hostel with helpful staff. The environment and atmosphere was really nice and japanese. They had their own cozy bar with nice music. Only thing missing was the people. But a great place to stay.

he location is ok, not far to from downtown and close to some of the main temples. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a rather small guesthouse so you won't find a buzzing atmoshphere. The walls are thin like in most of the traditional Japanese guesthouses. It seems obvious that you should be quiet when you're in the... More

Let me just start off by saying this place was amazing for us. I stayed here during my trip to Japan in September. I was travelling with 4 other friends, and we stayed in a twin and triple room for 5 nights here. It's super cheap, and we had no problems whatsoever. It is a hostel, so if you aren't... More
