We have spent 4 nights in this hotel in beautiful Kyoto during our last holiday with my family in Japan, experiencing good quality for the price paied. Clean rooms, good position (near to the Metro, Karasuma Oike station), personnel very kind and helpful, good breakfast. Also near to the Manga Museum, and to the Kyoto Art Museum, several minimarkets, shops... More

Visiting my son and his Japanese girlfriend i stayed at the Hearton. The room I had though small contained everything I needed. Bathroom very well equipped. The staff spoke very little English but were very polite and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location walking distance of the main shopping area and market in Kyoto also a short walk... More

This was probably the best of the half dozen good hotels I stayed at in my recent stay in Japan, It was clean, comfortable and at least by Japanese standards, spacious. Good location close to a major subway stop as well as the Manga Museum. Wifi worked fine and helpful English speaking staff. An excellent value for under $100. Definitely... More

Great price, nice food, great location, cosy and very clean room, WiFi in rooms, quiet and friendly staff. My only small issue was that they had a limited bandwidth on their WiFi, so in the evening when everyone was coming back to the hotel from wherever and using the internet, it was a bit too slow, to watch some videos... recommandable hotel with good beds and in-room refridge for own use. Everything existing for a (longer) stay. The hot water is almost at once Onsen-hot, so be careful. Breakfast can be Japanese style on 2nd floor in a quite well Japanese decorated restaurant, or western style on 1st floor with an excellent buffet, where you can find everything for a... More

Nice hotel. Easy to walk to and find from the subway station as long as you leave out of the right exit (exit #1 at Karasuma Oike station - walk out and go left at first street, hotel will be up 40m on the left). The room was small but clean and well appointed. The included breakfast was a choice... More

This is my fifth time staying at the Hearton. I like the location and the prices are very reasonable. The rooms are pleasant, clean and well-maintained. The beds are comfortable and the hotel is quiet for a good night's sleep. The bathtub is larger than most. There is a coin washer and dryer in the hotel and an ice cream... More

The hotel is amazing. From the time you enter until the time you check out. The staff was very helpful and many spoke english quite well. The triple bed room was quite roomy and the beds were very comfortable. When I was researching before I made my own decision on a hotel, I seen that there were a few reviews... More

This hotel i must say have very small rooms. As the price is not expensive i suggest you go for the bigger and higher room rates for space. That said, the room was very clean, everything was in the right place and actually did not get in the way. Very erganomic. All the basic amenities provided. The TV is a... More
