Had pleasant 2 nights stay. Room was very clean, as usual room size is small. Located by the main road with bus stop right in front on the hotel (super convenient). Within walking distance to Nishiki Market and Gion Area. Recommend to get unlimited bus day pass if you plan to visit tourist area.

The 4 of us stay in triple room in December 2011 (after our Tokyo trip and before Osaka). Our room is at the corner and bigger compared to standard room. Firstly, the beds! They were the memory-foam type ones that feel very hard when you first lie on them, but gradually get better. Also only 1 pillow per bed -- a bit stingy! Stayed there for 2 nights. Walking distance from downtown, shopping district, bars and restaurants. Bus stop outside the hotel (15 mins from Kyoto train station). Internet was slow.
