This was a beautiful hotel, the rooms were large and exactly what I had hoped for. The lobby was beautiful. Good location to the Gion district. Clearly a favorite of the Japanese as I saw few westerners. I will stay here the next time I go to Kyoto. more

We really enjoyed our four night stay at the Okura. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded from a standard twin room to a deluxe corner room which was huge. Everyone we met in hotel could not do enough - superb service and wonderfully relaxing to return to after a hectic but lovely walk around the temples and major sights.
