Real five star hotel. Very helpful and respecting staff. All staff very well dressed and welcoming. The rooms and bath are very well equipped. The bath has both shower and bath tub. Chick-in and check-out is fast and smooth. I cannot comment about breakfast because I booked room without breakfast because it was very expensive. The hotel has great location.... More

Loved everything about the hotel Great uniforms, great service and exemplary customer service. If you have never stayed in a Japanese style luxury hotel, you should try this hotel. The rooms are great, the hotel is beautiful and we loved every moment of you stay.

Very classical Japanese hotel with a touch of the past. We were given a corner room on a high floor with splendid views of the city. This fully equipped room was the size of two rooms with two TV sets, a fantastic bathroom with bath and separate shower. Very clean and quiet rooms despite the amount of rooms on each... More

Thank you Hotel Okura for a wonderful few days. The room was wonderful (executive floor) and spacious. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. We had a lovely dinner in the French restaurant on our final night and was one of the best meals we had in Japan. Thankyou again for your beautiful hotel.

Second time staying at this hotel, although first time was lower floor and hearing sirens. The hotel staff made up for everything. They would do anything to make sure our stay was satisfied, we booked a standard room but amazed how small the room was. It took no time to switch to a bigger room even with an upgrade. Not... More

We were on a 10-day tour in Japan. We stayed in the hotel one day and left with 100% satisfaction. When our bus pull in the drive way, the bell boys were ready to unload our bags. Our room keys were ready, and the bag got to the rooms even before we walked in. When we left in the morning,... More

My view was amazing including of hills and buildings and a huge buddha on the hill. The room is nice and comfortable, but a step down depending on the expectations and budget of the traveler. There is a brand new Ritz-Carlton and other hotels to consider. This hotel has walkways with a river/canal(s) near by.

This is a beautiful hotel with 126 years of history. All their staff understand the meaning of hospitality and will go out of their way to make sure that all your needs are met and all expectations exceeded. The view from the 17th floor where you can have your breakfast is both stunning and tranquil at the same time. I... More
