You need to walk at least 10 mins from Kyoto Terminal Station. Small lobby with mechanical operations. Staff are neither rude nor polite; like asking a human robot questions. Room is extremely small with only enough walkway if you walk sideway to your bed. Very pricey at ¥19,400 per night. My friends stayed at another hotel nearer to station &... More

I stayed here over New Year's for 4 nights. I ended up booking the smallest double room possible, as I made reservations at the last minute and that room was about the only one left in Kyoto! The hotel is very close to the main train station, as in you must walk, and slightly hard to find. The staff spoke... More

I stayed in the Hotel for 9 nights with my son and was using Kyoto as my base station to look around from Dec 20-29, 2013. The location of the hotel is great as it is very near the JR Kyoto train station and central bus station to move around Kyoto. Just a few minutes brisk walking from the hotel... More

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is located near Kyoto station as well as the bus terminal. This hotel's location is terrific for travelling to various attractions in Kyoto. Other than its close proximity to the JR station and the bus terminal, it is also close to the JR Isetan Kyoto shopping centre and there is Porta... More

Arrived to this hotel on 13 Dec 2013. Booked this hotel because it is very near to Kyoto Station which is 10 minutes walk. The room size of this hotel is reasonably size for a family of 4 . I have booked a double twin bed but the staff counter giving me a smoking room . Lack of sense of... More

We were here for one night due to a last minute change to our plans so we weren't spoilt for choice. If you like rock hard beds, this is the right place for you (we spent more comfortable nights in Ryokens with no beds!). That said however, the service at the hotel was great, the staff were very attentive and... More

During our recent visit to Japan we stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It was the most expensive hotel we stayed at and the worse. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from the Kyoto Tower exit from the railway station and about 30 minutes walk from the Airport bus terminal. To get to the hotel from the... More

Just the basic, 8 mins walk towards West from Kyoto station, has a restaurant but didn't have time to try because as I said we're very close to Kyoto station which where you can find all the great foods all over the place, the hotel provides shampoo, conditioner, dental kit, hair brush, blow dry, TV japanese channel only but (for... While I was a little disappointed in what I got when I checked in, I reminded myself that I got a really good deal through the travel website when I booked, and for the amount of money I paid, and the fact that the hotel was a five-minute walk from Kyoto's main train station while I was dragging two heavy... There are 2 APA Hotels very close to Kyoto station. First I was in the wrong Apa Hotel but they tell me the way to the Eki Horikawadori it's next to eachothers. A nice spa bath sauna is for gast free.
