Our family of five stayed for 5 nights at this site. The staff was very pleasant and the concierge was outstanding and very helpful with finding a doctor, directions, finding shoe repair services, confirming travel, etc. The rooms were fair sized and though not updated or spacious, they were very clean. We also appreciated the various restaurants in the hotel.... More

The staff was friendly and accommodating, although we only spoke English so there was a definite language barrier. The location was fine for us, and the relatively short walk to the train and bus stations was convenient. The streets between the hotel, transportation and night life appeared very safe. Singles, couples, and families with children were wandering the streets on... More

Well this turned out to be the best hotel during our stay in Japan and by far the cheapest – what a deal. Well having been in Tokyo for 8 nights we got the Bullet (Shinkansen) train down to Koyto. These trains are ridiculously cheap, spacious seats, comfortable and clean, same business class on an aeroplane. Get the no seat... More

3 long blocks from the train station. If not included the breakfast buffet it will cost Y2500. This hotel is used by tour operators and it is crowded with families. Not a good place for business visits during the summer. The rooms are nice with overall good wifi and tv.

The complimentary shuttle bus was nice, went straight from the station which is the port of entry for most visitors to Kyoto. When we got to the room I was not exactly blown away with how it looked, but we were prepared for it being small and a bit outdated. The bed was comfortable, and the toiletries which was complimentary... More

we stayed five nights, 4 (2 adults, 2 under 10 kids) in the room which made it tight with the sofa bed permanent made and an extra trundle. staff very polite and helpful. Shuttle bus to the station was actually very handy, even though it is less than 10 mins away, after a long day of walking it was easy... More

This hotel was very comfortable although the room was quite small. We were there for 3 nights. Staff very friendly and always smiling. There was a few shops in the lobby area one being a lovely little bakery but also serving sandwiches, ice cream etc as well as being a gift shop the other shop was a florist, which I... More

The location is strategic and very close to Kyoto station. The hotel provide regular free shuttle from and to hotel- Kyoto station. The hotel room has old design, but clean. They renovated the toilet and shower.

Exellent hotell near the railway station - and free transport with shuttle to the hotell. Nice three days stay. Good restaurants. We (my wife and I) specially enjoyed the revolving restaurant om the roof, with et marvellous view of the city. Friendly staff and good value.
