The hotel is located 15 minutes from the Central rail station, and you can easily access buses and trains to explore the city. Visited it twice, once solo and another one with a group of three people. The first time I stayed in a neat and clean shared room, second one in a three beds room. Vey good value for... More

Recently stayed here for three nights. The hostel is in a great location for access to the train station and for exploring the city. A number of landmarks are within walking distance or you can get the all day bus pass for 500 yen. The hostel was clean and there were some adequate facilities on the ground floor. Our room... More

Great place to stay, visited solo and felt safe and welcome The location is ideal, just a block or so away from Kyoto station. I had no idea what to do in Kyoto but after reading the Welcome book which has detailed plans and suggestions on places to go I had ample activities to do! Well worth the stay, wish... More

We stayed in private triple on first floor. Room OK, TV and sink in room. Staff weren't enthusiastic here, didn't find them helpful. Living area is nice but I never saw the free saki they advertise every night. Bathrooms clean. Really delicious French bakery close by, really amazing!

The place is clean and the staff friendly the location is very good too I slept well in the dorms for 5 nights and the lockers are big. I would suggest though getting some shoe lockers on entry then that would prevent someone wearing my shoes a whole day by mistake, but considering there was only 2 people in the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tour Club in Kyoto. The guesthouse itself is excellent - fantastic atmosphere, great amenities and a superb location. The staff were brilliant, very knowledgeable and super friendly. The guesthouse is simply a perfect haven to retreat to after a long day exploring Kyoto's temples. If we ever find ourselves back in Kyoto some day,... More

Once again we had the pleasure of staying at Tour Club Kyoto, in the caring and competent hands of managers Tadashi-san and Toshi-san. It's so nice to be remembered, even if many months have passed since our previous visit. T&T always go out of their way to make guests feel welcome, and they are most helpful with those little problems... More

This hostel is well maintained, friendly, clean, offers some privacy in the bunk beds and most of all, you can walk to it from the station with a heavy backpack, it only takes 5 minutes. The only downside is that you always have to take a subway or bus to get to the points of interests, but this was not... More

Everything is very good. It's a nice place to stay. The staff are also good at English. There are no problem to communicate with them. It's clean and near the station. It has a kitchen and 2 living rooms. It's not expensive like other hotels but it still has high quality to live just like Kyoto. I loveq here.
