Close proximity to the subway and major bus stops that enables easy access to all major sites in Kyoto. The hotel is also near to the many restaurants as well as seven eleven and other convenience stores. You are within walking distance of the Geisha district as well. We were warmly greeted by the reception staff. Our room was very... More

Our family had very unhappy stay in Kyoto Vistat premio hotel. On 5 July 2014 at 7 pm, I heard two front desk staff named Ms A Horita and Mr Y Fujii insulting and laughing at our family being Chinese. Our family wanted to talk to duty manager or person in charge of the hotel, but the lady staff said... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. The room was clean, modern and very spacious for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable too! The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by shops, restaurants, markets and good transport links. However, the hotel is very quiet when you're inside so you get the best of both worlds. We didn't have breakfast... More

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Last year we spent a week here when they were still the Best Western and we just returned from another week. We love the location of the hotel with close proximity to the subway, and two private railway stations, and bus routes. JR Kyoto Station is an easy subway ride away.... More

This truly is a hidden gem for the price I paid for this Standard Double Room (68 euro, 85 dollar). The room is pretty big to Japanese standards and you can easily stow away you suitcases. Your clothes can be stored in drawers in a closet next to the door. The bathroom is big enough and has all the amenities... More

We stayed in this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. This hotel has a very convenient location that is near all the tourist spots and popular restaurants. It also located near Sanjo Station, which connects you to most of the the tourist spots around Kyoto. The hotel is just one to two train stops away from the Higayashima area,... More

This modern and comfortable hotel is in the center of the business and retail district. Cabs are readily available to take you anywhere else around town. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was well-constructed, but somewhat small (like most hotels in Japan) and overcrowded with furniture. To make the rooms more comfortable, the management might consider removing the... More

We only stayed for one night in Kyoto but had a lovely time. We found the hotel easily, thanks to Google maps and directions on Trip Advisor. We took the Keihan Railways line to Sanjo station from Namba in Osaka. It's a 5-10 minute walk to the hotel and it's located on a side street of the main road. The... More

I spent two nights with my husband at the Hotel Vista Premio Kyoto and our room was located on the 2nd floor, by the street. First we were afraid that it would be too loud at night but the street noise did not disturb us. The hotel is very well located; there are too large indoor shopping streets right behind... More

I' ve been back in April and I was slightly worried because of the change of name of the hotel ( last year was Best Western). My worries were useless. I found the hotel as comfy and beautiful as last time. It is in a small street, really close to one of the biggest street in Kyoto but still very... More
