Excellent hotel in the centre of Kyoto. Subway station right outside although we walked to Kyoto train station most days to catch trains to other areas. Only a 15 minute walk to Kyoto station. This place is ideal for exploring Kyoto and farther afield. We had 2 rooms for 2 parents and 2 kids. i would not attempt to house... More

Service staff were excellent and what you expect of Japanese. They can speak english as well so it was really easy to communicate with. The room were neat and tidy. I got a room that face the back of the hotel so not much of scenery. The other side should be facing the main room. There are food in the... More

Stayed here for a week. In short, excellent apartment room, very clean and spacious. Very comfortable and nice place to be after long tiring day. Made use of kitchen facilities which is nice when you are on trip for a week. Only thing I would mention is location wise you need to take subway to most places which I do... More

Really fab location right next to the station and good for going out at night time. Room very big for Japan standard. Also had cooking appliances which was good. Staff very friendly. Air con was great. My favourite hotel stay in japan. can rent bikes on the road opposite and the hotel allowed us to lock it securely on their... More

In fact it has been 3-4 years after our honeymoon trip to Kyoto and Osaka. We missed this apartment hotel so much. Both of us loved the hotel. It is nice, clean and convenient located with couple of restaurants around. The rate is affordable as well.

unusual style in Kyoto. stayed with wife and 6 year old daughter. my daughter really liked here - kitchen inside the room, very clean and neat, comfy feeling. receptionists are bilingual and many European travelers. very nice and reasonably priced breakfast is offered in a trip package or for purchase. laundry in the basement.

After travelling in Japan for a month we were pleasantly surprised at the size of our room. We had a queen bed with a separate sitting area and lots of space for storage etc. The small kitchen facilities were useful and the location was great. It is one stop from kyoto station and the stop is right out the front... More

Definitely a taste of Japan in terms of size but with excellent use of space at every nook and cranny, and quite clean as well. Certainly this hotel is reasonably priced. Location is good, with the Gojo subway stop at the corner and restaurants as well. When in Kyoto, check this hotel out. Maybe it will be a shocker at... More

We had a nice and not so small apartment with a kitchen. There is a washing machine and dryer in the basement. AND the subway station Gojo is just a few steps away! Good value for money! Just loved it!

My husband, son and I all really liked this hotel--well-maintained, well-equipped rooms, friendly and helpful front desk staff, very reasonably priced breakfast, convenient do-it-yourself laundry, attractive lobby, free in-room WiFi that was strong and stable. We rented bicycles for 4 days to get around Kyoto (I highly recommend doing this!), and the hotel provided a nice secure little spot near... More
