Stayed here for 3 nights. First night was at a 6 bedded ladies' dorm. Dorm was spacious enough for 6 people. There was ample space for all of us with luggages. Individual private space was also good. But the bottom bunk where I stayed could use more curtain. All in all, I enjoyed my first time in a dorm. Last... More

The night we arrived at J-Hoppers Kyoto we got on the wrong train and showed up after the 2200 check-in time. The staff was gracious enough to provide us our room keys and permit us to complete the check-in process in the morning. The cost of lodging was very reasonable and included everything we expected and more. The dorm rooms... More

Six of us ( 3 senior citizen couples) stayed for 4 nights in an 8-beded mixed Dorm. The beds are really comfortable. All young staff are very friendly and helpful. Patient in answering all our questions on transportation, places of interest. The kitchen and dinning facilities are excellent, you can cook all your meals there. Superb free WiFi. We made... More

This is not a five-star hotel, but a good place if you want to stay in Osaka at a budget price. It offers dormitory sleeping as well as single room sleeping at a low price. There is a lounge, very friendly reception service, kitchen to prepare your own food, tea and coffee is available, some restaurants nearby and it is... More

spent a night in the female dorm, and the 2nd night in the mixed dorm. the best thing about the place is that there is a staff who would help with our luggage, all the way up to the highest floor (4th floor, female's dorm). since we were there during winter, the tap in the toilet of the 4th floor... A guesthouse with convenient location; friendly and helpful staff; comfortable and clean room; practical facilities that are usable; all for a reasonable price even for a budget traveller! My only slight disappointment is that there is no elevator in the premises; but that doesn't matter much as the staff are there to help at all times. Recommended to book as... More

the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The location is 10-15 minutes walk from kyoto station, and you can find 7-eleven nearby. The price was good, the facilities was good, and they have many umbrellas , so if it rains, we can lend it for free..

This is my second visit to J-hoppers Kyoto. `This time I found the facilities more convenient and practical,.e.g., many choices of free drinks, hot and cold, and also you could cook some kinds of cuisine, western or Japanese. Besides drinks or foods, you could enjoy staying at comfortable lounge, and refreshing your body physically and mentally. There are convenient public... More
