Staying at a hotel that is built into the same building as the mainline station is a definate advantage to any sightseeing trip. Kyoto is truly an amazing city and the Granvia is truly Grand. We researched most the the different hotels for our family of 7 to stay at on tripadvisor, and they were correct about this place. The rooms, the location, the staff, the atmosphere, the whole setting. Highly recommended by all of us! more

The hotel rooms are big for Japan standards with excellent amenities. The twin room we have is overlooking the Kyoto Tower and the beautiful city of Kyoto. The location is wonderful and the service is perfect. more

Great central location. High quality rooms set in the amazing Kyoto station building. A great range of facilities. Its not the cheapest hotel but the service and standard throughout and the good location make this the best all round value. I will alwasy go back when in Kyoto. more
