Made my trip to japan. It's very Convenient because it's literarily inside the Kyoto station. Beside that, the staff is very kind, the rooms are amazing, and the beds are very comfortable. Don't hesitate, it's the best hotel you can find in all Kyoto.

This hotel is huge. It sits on top of shopping centre and attached to the JR station. Rooms are really nice and spacious. Rooms are very quiet. Staff are very friendly. We had breakfast included which was average. Given this location is in a great spot I highly recommend this hotel.

Having stayed at a ryokan, a western chain hotel and now Granvia, I can safely say that this is the best hotel for visiting Kyoto. Location is perfect - jump on the buses to all the main sights - clearly marked. Also it is above the train station so perfect to get to your room after a long flight. Local... More

Great location. Comfortable bed Comfortable room. The hotel has very little atmosphere but there is little to fault it. The concierge service is very good. Would stay again particularly if I needed access to the public transport options in station

Although the hotel is huge, the staff help maintain an intimate atmosphere. Everybody we dealt with - from check in/out desk staff through to the concierge and restaurant chefs - was friendly, helpful and informative. Hotel Granvia is well located at Kyoto Station which acts as a hub for all of the things a visitor would want to do. Whilst... More

If your like the station and access is key, this is a great hotel. It is very clean and well maintained. Staff is consistently friendly and helpful. There is a big department Stare at the station, many restaurants shops. Subways will take you to the Gion & downtown area, and many temples are just a few km away. The overall... More

We recently stayed at the Granvia Hotel in Tokyo for five nights. We were very professionally looked after when making enquiries and requests before our trip, and while we were there. One exceptional manager is Ms Shiho Ikeuchi who watches over our stay with personal attention and thoughtfulness. Her colleagues at the Granvia Club also calmly arranged for me to... More

We chose this hotel because we wanted to be close to the station and shopping areas. It really is a huge hotel and our room on the 8th floor was very nice - absolutely no complaints about that. We felt the restaurants were way overpriced for the food and service. It caters mainly for Japanese so westerners may not always... More

What a great hotel in a fab location. Straight from station to hotel in minutes. Rooms good size & comfy bed. Breakfast was great, good variety. We had dinner one night in one of other Japanese restaurants, worked out approx £25 each. Must admit the experience was better than the food. Ate most nights in the underground as soon as... More

Much like the Kyoto Station building, this hotel seems oversized and out of step with the perception of what Kyoto should be like. I don't think I've ever stayed at such a big hotel though - there must be close to 100 rooms on each sprawling level, and the lobby was always full of people rushing about. We chose the... More
