Great location - at Osaka station and umeda station which means you can literally get to anywhere easily. Rooms are ok , not very big and the double bed is not very big although twin bed rooms are slightly bigger. Wifi is free but is barely available in rooms ( at least in my corner) but is fine in the... More

We stayed here for two nights and found it so convenient. We arrived by train and simply rode the escalator up to the hotel lobby. Our luggage had been shipped ahead and it was there waiting when we checked in. There were several clerks in the check-in area who were very helpful in getting us to our rooms and settled.... More

The hotel is right above the train station, how fantastic is that! We booked our room using American Express points and paid for an upgrade once we arrived. So glad we did, our room was fantastic, very large, quite fantastic, wonderful and HUGE shower, wow, supra nice. The staff was fantastic especially in the private lounge. For breakfast you can... I chose this hotel primarily for its location and because the better rated hotels were all fully booked. Room and amenities were really dated. The room was also dark and unwelcoming. The hotel is rated as a 4.5 star hotel but in my opinion should only be rated maximum of 4 stars by international standard. I would have to commend... More

I was attending a conference attached to this hotel. I was able to bring my wife on this trip which was a plus. I had reserved a room with 1 King Bed, but they gave us 2 doubles, but since I also asked to have a view of busy Kyoto train station (I'm a big railfan), I decided not to... More

We arrived with lots of bags and not one person on staff moved a finger or offered to help. We were finally got to the desk the staff was very nice. The room was large but very dated. The toliet was fancy but made many unneccessary beeps and noises. The room was very hot but after a few calls for... More

We chose this hotel for its location which was great. We arrived and left Kyoto by bulletin train and also took the train to Osaka as a day trip. The station itself also has a lot to offer in terms of shops and restaurants and more surprisingly the sky garden. The concierge also recommended some great restaurants near by (the... More

We stayed for six nights in July 2014 and we had a wonderful stay. The service and comfort were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was perfect and central to our getting around Kyoto, right above the station and all the shopping.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights during our stay in Kyoto. It was actually the best hotel of our whole stay in Japan (we visited several cities). The location is just great: above the central train station of Kyoto (we were never disturbed by train noise which is surprising), next to the central bus station, next to a... More

We stayed here with our 14 year old nephew who is in a wheelchair. Overall we found the hotel felt very large and impersonal compared to other places on this trip. Staff were pleasant, so we're not criticising them, it was just impersonal. The buffet breakfast felt busy and was in a large westernised restaurant; it was busy so hard... More
